Bhartiya Vidya Mandir (USN) celebrated the birth anniversary of India’s greates mathematician, Srinivas Ramanujan on 22nd Dec, 2015 with great pomp and show. To pay a rich tribute to the genius mathematician, a week from 16th Dec to 21st Dec, 2015 was observed as the Mathematics week in which there were a plethora of activities like Math Relay Race, Quiz, Vedic Math tricks and brain cracking were conducted. Math magic square activity was performed by class VI, Math Sudoku by class VII, Quiz by VIII and Pascal triangle activity was conducted in class IX. The students zealously participated in various activities. The closing ceremony of the week was marked by a beautiful rhyme recital by Dimple of class XI. A subject teacher also throw light on the meaning of the board ‘Mathematics’ in an interesting way. The school authorities appreciated the efforts of the students and the maths faculty for their performance. The Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi also gave a pat to the participants for their prompt participation.
