Following CBSE’s notification, Bhartiya Vidya Madir Sr. Sec. ASchool (USN) Ludhiana promptly stepped forward in joining hands with the Ministry of Urban Development to make all students active stakeholders in making India clean. Under the ‘National Student Engagement Initiative for Swachh Bharat Mission’ ‘Swachhta Pledge’ was administered in the morning assembly. All the students and teachers pledged to voluntarily work and propagate for cleanliness with commitment in their school locality and city. Students of the four houses Swami Vivekananda House, Shri Aurobindo House, Bhagat Singh House and Lok Manya Tilak House ardently contributed in the mission with the cleaning of nook and corner of their alma-mater with zeal. The Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi appreciated the students and motivated them to spread the message of cleanliness in their residing places too.
