Bhartriya Vidya mandir Udham Singh Nagar firmly believes in grooming accomplished personalities. To sharpen the agile minds of Bhartiyans an inter class Chess Championship was held today in School Auditorium for Boys and Girls of Class II to VIII. In this neck to neck competition the winners were awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals by the Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi.
In Under 9 age group (Boys): Ishant got Gold Medal, Yuvraj got Silver Medal and Akhil & Shivansh got Bronze Medal.
In Under 11 age group (Boys): Daman ranked 1st, Ansh 2nd , Kunal Singhi & Bisman Singh stood 3rd .
In Under 13 age group (Boys): Gurpreet Singh stood 1st, Hardik 2nd , Suraj & Pankaj stood 3rd .
In Under 15 age group (Boys): Gautam stood 1st, Sachin 2nd , Saksham & Manthan stood 3rd .
In Under 11 age group (Girls): Siya ranked 1st, Prachi Madaan 2nd , Chhavi stood 3rd .
In Under 13 age group (Girls): Deepti Sharma stood 1st, Jannat 2nd , Shruti & Shivani stood 3rd .
In Under 15 age group (Girls): Kriti stood 1st, Niharika 2nd , Nandini stood 3rd .
Members of the BVM Trust blessed the winners and appreciated the participation of all the 200 participants and also applauded the efforts of the Physical Education Department.
