​Saluting the Nation
BVM (USN) salutes the nation on the eve of independence day to mark 70th year of freedom from British rule. On this patriotic occasion BVMites showcased a colourful spectacle of India’s vision through their performance.
SH. M.M.Bamba ji, member of BVM Trust graced the occasion with his auspicious presence and filled everyone with pride. The programme commenced with ‘Deep Parjawlan’ by the Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi ji, followed by pious ‘Saraswati vandana’.
Naman Chaudhary and Hashika Gulati of grade VIII recited beautiful poems and left the audience spellbound. The programme reached its pinnacle with an enthralling dance performance which is applauded by one and all which is followed by a patriotic song sung by XI students. After this Mrs. Sheetal paid obeisance to the motherland through her wonderful speech.

Role play of freedom fighters from the primary wing by Keshav of class III as Shaeed Udham Singh, Bisman, Parth and Hardik of class V as Kartar Singh Sarabha, Chatrapati Shivaji and Subhash Chnader Bose filled everyone with patriotic fervor. Tanmay and Mantra of III portrayed our great leaders Jawahar Lal Nehru and Sarojini Naidu.
In the end, Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi ji extended her greetings on the eve and said this is the day to mark our indebtness to our great nation for having offered us great values and traditions and added this is the day to pay our sincere tribute to all the freedom fighters who sacrificed their present for our future, she inspired the students to make our nation corruption free and asked to join hands for national peace and harmony. She also mentioned the need to be sensitive about our responsibilities towards the nation. The celebration concluded with the recitation of Vande Matram.
