​BVMites explore talent through various ‘Academic Activities’ « 09/Dec/2017

To inculcate multiple skills among the BVMites and to polish them, an array of activities were conducted at BVM, USN. These class wise activities were based on declamation, quiz, handwriting competition  in which all the participants participated with vigour and enthusiasm. In hand writing competition, Kirti of class VI bagged the first position. Second position was grabbed by Kritika and third position was clinched by Ritika of the same class. In Science Essay writing competition, Sanskriti exhibited her creativity and writing skills and got the first position, Pratishtha secured second position and Nishtha stood third. To enhance the general knowledge of students, S.S.T quiz was also conducted in which participants performed enthusiastically and exhibited their wisdom. Pratishta Jain, Darshpreet Kaur and Shikhar got 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd positions respectively.
For class VII, Maths Quiz was conducted in which mathsholic Gokul, Vansh, Suraj and Saksham were adjudged the winners. In Hindi writing Competition, Arshita Batra stood first, Ankita clinched second and Raghav Jain bagged the third position. In Flash card making activity based on Mathematics, Bhumika stood first, Kritika and Priya grabbed the second position, third position was scored by Garima as well as Suraj. ‘Forests- The lungs of Earth’ a science activity was conducted  in which Bhumika, Garima and Sargam Sood gave the evidence of their potential and bagged 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd positions, respectively.
Science quiz was conducted in class VIII in which the team of Deepali, Bhawna and Rabia excelled. To enhance the oratory skills ‘Science Declamation’ was organized in which Keshav and Pari Jha clinched the first position, Sukriti claimed the second position and Rabia enjoyed the third position. To improve the writing skills, Punjabi writing competition was conducted too, in which Anshika and Rashi claimed the first position, Khushi and Keshav grabbed the second and third position was acquired by Simranjeet Kaur and Rabia.Budding Mathematician, Sukriti was adjudged the winner for fast reponses in S.S.T Quiz Competition, the united efforts of Mayank , Mannatpreet and Sukriti enabled them to be declared as the best team of the quiz.
The Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi applauded and appreciated the efforts of zealous participation of students in all these activities. She also awarded the winners with certificates in the morning assembly and exhorted others to seek inspiration from the winners.
