On 6th day of its grand Golden Jubilee Celebrations, a seminar for teachers was organized. The seminar commenced with deep prajwalan by the benevolent members of BVM trust, Sh. O. P. Sabharwal Ji (President), Sh. Phool Chand Jain Ji (Vice President), Sh. P. C. Goyal Ji (Secretary), Sh. Manoj Gupta Ji (Joint Secretary), Sh. M. M. Vyas Ji (Manager) and Sh. R. K. Behal Ji (Member) and revered resource persons Sri Vijay Kumar Nadda Ji (Joint Organizing Secretary, North region Vidya Bharti) and Shri Deshraj Sharma Ji (Convenor, Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nias, North Region) followed by pious Saraswati Vandana. Esteemed members of BVM trust presented saplings to the resource persons as a token of remembrance. ‘Education in Bharat and Bharat in Education’ was the main theme of the seminar. Shri Vijay Nadda Ji emphasized on the dire need of including ancient history of Bharat and Bhartiyan Sanskriti in the curriculum so that the students must be proud of the glory of their motherland, he said students are not aware of the rich bhartiyan heritage and therefore there is a lack of patriotism among them. He commended the teachers to create humanistic approach in the students so that they may not distract from their main mission and vision of life. Shri Deshraj Sharma Ji spoke about school education and management. He said learning process is cumulative effect of school, social and family background. Teachers are the stakeholders of students’ life and they need to educate parents also. He added teachers need to adapt basic techniques again as modern aids are not as important as basic education. Students and teachers need to be smart. Educators are just facilitators they should have a very good rapport with the students only then desired results can be produced. Vote of thanks was proposed by Shri Phool Chand Jain Ji saying that the teaching faculty will be greatly benefited from the wise words of Shri Vijay Kumar Nadda Ji and Shri Deshraj Sharma Ji. The program culminated with Vande Matram.
