Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar reverberated with celebrations of Cultural Teej extravaganza interwoven with the sacred bond of Rakshabandhan. Girls & boys attired in typical regional dresses added vibrant hues to the event. Zealous ‘mutiyaars’ made everybody tap his feet to the thunderous performance of Giddha. ‘Mere Bhaiya, Mere Chanda’ the melodious lyrical presentation by BVM singers enthralled all. Miss Manmeet Kaur and Mr.Bisman Singh of Class IIIrd-A were crowned Miss Punjab And Mr. Punjab respectively. Mehandi, Rakhi ,Bangle & Greeting Card Making competitions were also held. Students also had community lunch of homemade sumptuous delicacies. Tiny tots swarmed up as butterflies in colorful civil dress. The School Manager Sh.O.P.Sabharwal Ji and Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi appreciated the participants, extended the best wishes and also emphasized that such cultural celebrations were a medium of connecting the modern generation to its rich cultural heritage & traditions.
