Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar today celebrated the ‘Youth Day’ marking the birth anniversary of great Indian reformist – Saint Swami Vivekananda. Young Bhartiyans were inspired by Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi to follow the path of perseverance and action shown by Swami ji to achieve their goals in life and make positive contributions to the society. The students of the middle section enacted beautifully an episode from the life of Swami Vivekanand ji, giving the message of equality. Students of class III dressed as Swami ji went class to class in secondary and senior secondary sections to recite his thought provoking messages for their elders. Besides it, students of junior wing added the warmth of bonfire and sweetness of rewaries to the great day with their melodious Lohri – songs…. Sunder mundriye ho! All the daughters were blessed with a bounty of blessings as the auspicious day coincided with World Daughter’s Day. Bhartiyans pledged to make their nation a better world for its citizens particularly girls by creating a healthy and happy environment through their little but responsible efforts.
