NOT JUST SCHOLARS WE ARE SPORTSMEN TOO « 11/Feb/2015

Keeping up the concept of ‘Balanced Schooling’ and ‘Harmonious development’ of children; BVM Udham Singh Nagar organized Annual Sports Day on 11.2.2015. Honourable members of BVM trust graced the occasion through their vivacious presence. The ceremony began with unfurling of BVM flag by Parth of class I. Sh. K.C. Maini ji, Secretary BVM Trust declared the meet open which began with lightening of ceremonial lamp and release of fluorescent balloons by the members of BVM trust, the School Manager Sh. O.P.Sabharwal ji,  BVM Trust Member Sh. M.M.Bamba ji and Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi. The ceremony began with the motivational and sizzling dance performance by the students of primary wing. Students whole took oath to play with true sportsmanship. Vaibhav Gaur and Meghna Gaur (National Level Champions of Squay Martial Arts) enlightened the torch which was followed by march past of classes VI and VII led by Anjali and Yash. Primary and middle classes enthusiastically participated in various fun-filled games  like king queen race, socks race, needle bead race etc; students of VII and VIII exhibited their zeal in different matches which were held simultaneously under the able guidance of Physical Education Department, Mr. Baljeet Singh Gill, Mr. Harpreet Singh, Mrs. Geeta Mishra, Mr. Jwala Prasad and Mr. Gurminder Singh. Boys and girls of class VII proved their metal in Tug of War. Honourable members of the trust felicitated and awarded the students with medals. The best among them being Shabad, Sonu, Sapna, Khushi, Bhavya Gupta. The ceremony came to an end with mesmerizing and foot tapping bhangra. Principal Mrs. Bandaan Sethi extended her warmest congratulations to the participants of various sports events and emphasized that sports meet evokes a lot of passion and fervor among the students.
