BVM - Salutes its supportive hands
To make the students realize the dignity of labour to sensitize them towards the selfless service offered by the supportive employees & to express gratitude to the makers of the day, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Udham Singh Nagar, celebrated the Labour day in a vibrant spirit. The beautiful painting on labour’s Day ornamented the school premises. The day began with an enlightening speech on the historical value of this day. Receiving of cards as a taken of thanks & the tikka c eremony brought on immense wave of joy on the faces of the pillars of the institution. The students acknowledged their services by offering them gifts voluntarily & by giving them a break of ½ an hour by taking an initiative to discharge their duties like cleaning the surroundings, offering water to teachers & watering the plants. The students rejoiced their jobs & realized the arduous efforts made by these supporting bodies to make environment coherent to learning process. The tiny tots of I-V classes enacted the role of the employees & garnered a lot of appreciation. Mam Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi ji said that cultivating the habit of cleanliness is a way to accelerate our steps towards ‘Swach Bharat Abhiyan . She said that no one can repay the boundless services offered by these selfless warriors of the school. Exhorting the students, mam laid emphasis on the fact that only due regard & acknowledgement of their services can be a way to give them a feeling of being an inseparable & integral part of the institution. She also motivated the students & the faculty members to raise voice against Child Labour, a slur on the fair name of india.
