BVM Udham Singh Nagar celebrated 69th Independence Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. Gauri of class XII recited a self composed poem, Ashima Batra of class VIII expressed her views on independence. Children of classes V,VI,VII portrayed themselves as freedom fighters who fought till life for the freedom of the country. Girls of classes VI,VII paid tribute to veer jawans through a group dance performance. Patriotic song indulged a feeling of nationalism in all present. A teacher Mrs. Sheetal Dutta expressed her opinion on independence through a beautiful poem. At last there was a power point presentation on the lives of great souls who were born in India and took India to distinguished heights. Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi wished students and explained what independence in real sense means to them. All the members of trust congratulated students on this eve of independence.
