Promising scholar of BVM USN Samridhi Sethi made Ludhiana feel proud by reserving a berth in the National level Inspire Awards 2015. Her science model ‘Skilled terminator for spilled contamination’ prepared under the guidance of the science teacher Mr. Narendra Singh Rawat has been selected for the National level Inspire Awards 2015. Presenting exclusively innovative techniques of removing oil contaminants and floating pollutants from the water bodies due to collision of ships, drilling or due to oil discharge by industries, hence a step towards Swachh Bharat the model caught attention of every eye. Magnificent working of the model won the cash prize of Rs. 1200 at state level as Samridhi was honoured by S. Daljeet Singh Cheema, Education Minister Punjab who stated that it will be further honoured by Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narinder Modi at Delhi on 6th and 7th December,2015. Another model ‘Bhudha Nallah Scare, lets care share and be aware’ presented by Gautam Mittal also received huge acclaim for creating awareness for ‘Swasth Bharat’. The Trust President Sh. M.M.Vyas Ji, Sh. PC Goel Ji and Sh. Manoj Gupta ji were all praise for the winner and Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi congratulated the participants for their splendid achievement and motivated other students to give concrete shape to their ideas and scientific fervor in the form of such novel projects.
