BVM students visited the Parliament House
50 students accompanied by the principals and the social science teachers and the School Executive officer visited the Parliament house at New Delhi on 15.12.2015.It was a unique experience for the students interacting with the Education and Human Resource Development minister Mrs. Samriti Irani, getting first hand information about the working of the Parliament. It was a different experience for the students to see the Parliament in action. The students came to know that how the various bills are proposed and passed in the Parliament representing 1.2 billion people of India. Mrs. Samriti Irani coerced the students to opt politics as their career highlighting the need of the hour as the country needs enlightened and intelligent youth so as to bring the India at par with the developed nations of the world. Sh. Avinash Rai Khanna, the worthy member of the Parliament explained the students regarding the construction and architecture of the Parliament house. He told that the students are the strength of the nation. The students had serge of the patriotic feeling, when they entered the Parliament Museum. They had a glimpse of the independence struggle from 1857 onwards depicted through various original photographs and demonstration, listened to the original speeches of Pt. Nehru and Mahatma Gandhi too. It helped the students to know about their own roots. It was really an unforgettable experience for one and all. The students thanked the Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Trust for providing them this wonderful opportunity.
