An innovative seminar ‘Vedic Mathematics in modern times’ at BVM, USN to re-establish the forgotten legacy of ancient learning of Bharata. The resource person Mrs. Nishu, the co-ordinator and Mathematics teacher emphasized the need of the hour to reinstate the Vedas which are the source of Vedic Mathematics. This study is based on 16 sutras which describe the natural thinking pattern of mind thus providing appropriate solutions to the intricate mathematical problems through quick calculations. This study discovered by Swami Bharti Krishna Tirath ji has received worldwide recognition too. Soon it is going to be introduced in the school curriculum for all the classes as ell as for the entrance competitive tests too. The Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi highly applauded the research & presentations shared by Mrs. Nishu with all the members of faculty and cited it as a source of inspiration too.
