Celebration of the festivals is one of BVM’s many endeavours to promote knowledge on Indian Culture. Spreading the message of ancient Puranas and traditions , Navratras and Dussehra was celebrated in BVM (USN) with gaity and fervor . The celebration started on the very first Navratra with elaboration of the importance of each Navratra by Mr. Rajkumar(Sanskrit Teacher) motivating the students to follow the path shown by all nine goddesses (incarnation of Shakti) . The blessings of Goddess Durga were invoked through the melodious rendition of soulful bhaint by Hardik(V) and Tanya(XII).The whole campus reverberated to the sacred enchantings. Students of VI to VIII participated in Doha and Chopai ‘Recitation Contest’, singing glory of Lord Rama. The tiny girls from primary wing enthralled everyone with their dance performance. Principal Mrs Bandana Sethi addressed the students to preserve the divinity of the festivals. She also motivated the students to learn the lesson from the Ramayana and act accordingly as ‘the need of the hour is to burn the Ravana within oneself’.
