​Mathematical Shapes Speak « 17/Oct/2016

In order to boost up the creative skills and to enhance practical learning of Mathematics, a role play activity of class III students was conducted at BVM, USN. Students dressed up in the royal attire of kings of geometrical shapes eg. Squares, cubes, spheres performed their part enthusiastically on stage. Each of them highlighted the characteristics of his respective shape. The idea behind the entire activity was to discourage rote learning and relate the concepts with every day used objects from real life. The students who got 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd positions are Rumi, Nishant Walia & Mannat and Khwaish respectively.
