BVM USN OBSERVES QUIT INDIA DAY « 08/Aug/2020
BVM USN perceived the 78th anniversary of the ‘August Kranti Divas' considered as' Quit India Day ', one of the important milestones in the history of freedom struggle of our country. Mrs. Veena Malhotra (PRT) elucidated that on this day, in 1942 , father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi gave the famous Clarion call of 'Do or Die' to all Indians to drive the British out of the country, in congress session in Mumbai. She explicated the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi as eternally relevant, to create awareness about the historic day in India's freedom struggle as it reminds us of the seriousness of the country's hardships and the long series of sacrifices made by great revolutionary leaders. The grateful Bhartiyan , today , paid homage, by saluting the Martyrs , remembering their supreme sacrifices during the freedom struggle.
Principal, Mrs. Bandana Sethi , urged everyone to take part in National development by following teachings of Mahatma Gandhi Ji .She added , students are the future of our nation they must come forward and work relentlessly with their utmost strength , in making India, a nation of our dreams .
