BVM Celebrates 74th Independence day honouring Corona warriors
BVM USN celebrated 74th Independence Day by saluting the nation and its freedom fighters with traditional solemnity and devotion. A gamut of online activities were conducted for the BVMites to enthuse the spirit of national integration and to take pride in being an 'Indian'. It was heartening to see students applying their zeal and zest to give their best. The toddlers of Class-I exhibited their culinary skills by preparing tri-coloured fruit salad and expressed their love for the nation. The cuties of class-II passionately prepared greeting cards with heart touching messages on different facets of our glorious freedom struggle. Keeping the spirit of nationalism alive the students of Class III exhibited their sentiments and emotions by creating ingenious 'book marks' and 'badges'. Astounding and startling slogans were presented by the students of class IV. Young artists of class V showcased their creativity and designing skills by forming tricolor rangoli. The spirit of freedom and nationalism was well exhibited by the BVMites of class VI to VIII through a spectrum of self-composed poetry, role-plays and spectacular dance performances on patriotic songs. Bodacious Bhartiyans of Class IX were caught up in the spirit of unity and brotherhood while designing posters with the theme 'Ek Bharat Sreshth Bharat '. An Online Quiz aimed to acquaint young minds with our rich culture, tradition and heritage was conducted for class X. While the segacious students of Senior Secondary classes presented PPTs under the title 'Local Se Vocal' spreading message to go for Indian made commodities and products Principal Mrs Bandana sethi hoisted National Flag, accompanied by Vice Principal and all the coordinators and all in unison sang melodious strains of national anthem.
The rendition of a patriotic song "Sone Jaisi matti jiski, Amrit jaisa paani hai" by the teachers choir was really soulful which created an ambience of unprecedented patriotism. On behalf of teaching fraternity, Mr Raj Kumar (TGT Sanskrit) apprised the students with this auspicious day when India attained freedom from Colonial rule and people of our country became the masters of their destiny. To infuse selfless service spirit among young Bhartiyans , corona warriors of BVM were honoured to help the needy during lockown period.

Patriotic vehemence was further enhanced with the online address by the Principal, Mrs Bandana Sethi who evoked the sacrifices made by the legendary heroes and valliant warriors.Talking about the prevailing coronavirus, she said every bhartiyan has to contribute, everyone has to be warrior in real sense to defeat this invisible enemy .She added that this Pandemic has taught us many lessons, the most important one is ,parents and school's collaboration , seeking parents'corporation, she said both possess complementary skill sets ,together they can help to make a strong foundation of the kids.Welcoming New Education Policy 2020 , she said it will really help to curb the menace of unemployment, bridging the gap of being educated and employable .She also motivated everyone to help to heal our mother earth by planting and taking care of the trees, avoiding water wastage and excessive usage of natural resources,She further motivated students to take a firm resolution on this fateful day to make our country the best in all 
spheres. Sh P.C.Goyal ji congratulated every one on this auspicious day applauding the sternous efforts of every bvmite .
