BVM USN celebrated Sri Guru Nanak Jayanti with immense fervour, devotion and gaiety to mark the birth anniversary of the first Sikh Guru. To make the students understand the real meaning of the Guru Purab, a special assembly was conducted on virtual platform where in the pious Bani of Guru Nanak Dev Ji “Japji Sahib “was recited by teachers in all the classes. The spiritual ambience of auspicious hymns of the Mool Mantra and soul touching melodious Shabad from Gurbani “Kar Kripa tere Gun gavan “ by Ishamdeep of class 3 rd and Harnoor of class 6th lent a divine fervour to the celebration. Another shabad by Harshit Kumar of class 5th “Jo mange Thakur apne te , soi soi Deve “strengthened everyone’s faith in the Supreme power. The environment of piousness and serenity was further enhanced as the students had Langar and Karrah parshad with their families. Focusing on Guruji‘s life Mrs Satvinder( PRT Punjabi ) acquainted the students with various spiritual, social and political reforms forwarded by Guru Nanak Dev Ji based on the principles of equality, goodness and virtue.
The members of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Trust greeted everyone on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti. Universal vision of humanism propagated by the great Guru , has been an inspiration to people everywhere and everyone should try to follow His profound teachings in strengthening the bond of togetherness, said Principal Bandana Sethi.
