BVM USN pays tribute to the legendary Flying Sikh on 'World Olympic Day'
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir (USN) observed world Olympic day today, by giving a glowing tribute to the colossal sport icon Milkha Singh. Witty scholars of class VII - XII exhibited their artistic and creative skills through beautiful poster making , slogan writing, power point presentations and passionate videos , showcasing the life and achievements of Milkha Singh and other Olympians.As good habits are formed in the young age, a virtual work out session was conducted by Physical Education department for the primary wing. Ms. Rachna (PRT Phy. Ed.) virtually acquainted everyone with inspiring biography of the flying Sikh. Applauding dedicated efforts of the Bvmites, Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal exhorted them to seek inspiration from the diehard disciplined life of the legendary and bring glory to the nation by actively participating in sports and athletics.
