The weeklong celebrations of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav at BVM USN today culminated with the celebration of 75th Independence Day with traditional solemnity and devotion.A plethora of online activities organised in the whole week for BVMites enthusing the spirit of nationalism and taking pride in being 'Bhartiyans' were heart warming.
The celebration of the auspicious day commenced with lamp lighting ceremony by Sh. K C Maini ji (Vice President BVM Trust), Sh P C Goyal ji (Secretary BVM Trust) Mrs Ranju Principal and Mrs Seema Gupta Vice Principal, which was followed by the flag hoisting ceremony. All sang melodious strains of national anthem in unison and took pledge of integrity.The rendition of song "Ye mera desh, hai pyara desh" by the teachers' choir created an ambience of unprecedented patriotism.Sh.M M Vyas ji (Member BVM Trust) also joined the celebration virtually. Addressing on the occasion, Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal evoked the supreme sacrifices made by the legendary heroes and valiant warriors.She stated that every Bhartiyan must seek inspiration from the great sons of Bharatmata and contribute his own bit towards the national development to make India a self reliant and proficient nation.Extending his greetings on the propitious occasion, Sh PC Goyal ji motivated students for their whole-hearted participation in sports and academic both.The celebration culminated with Vande Matram.
