Bhartiya Vidya Mandir (USN) turned into a children’s world whenthe students from Sanskar Kendra, Nobel Trust Foundation and theother deaf and dumb children came here to pay a tribute to thelegendary freedom fighter and first prime minister of independentIndia on Children’s day the day marking childhood. The perkyprogramme commenced with the lightening of ceremonial lamp by BVMalumni Gaurav Madan and his parents followed by the poem recitationby BVMites and students from Nobel Trust. Mrs Pinki’sinspiring speech aroused the patriotic feelings and a danceperformance by tiny tots took one and all on a joyous flight. Thetalent hunt competition and ‘Bal Mela’ was the mostrelished delicacies of the day’s menu. The students alsoluxuriated in the fun filled games, sumptuous food stalls, delightfulrides and enlightening documentary on the life of Pt.Jawahar LalNehru. The dignified members of BVM Trust. Sh. R.K.Gupta ji,Sh.K.C.Main ji, Sh.M.M.Bamba ji and O.P. Sabarwal ji graced theoccasion with their benign presence and showered the elixir ofblessings on their BVM family. They also distributed blankets,Clothes, eatables etc, donated by BVMites, to the God gifted needyand special children Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi greeted thestudents on the occasion and exhorted them to follow the ideals ofhonesty and hard word as guided by Chacha Nehru.
