To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, Janamashtmi was celebrated at BVM, USN with mirth and devotion. To feel the verve of festivity, a special assembly was conducted. Festival veneration of Lord Krishna commenced with bhajan "Hey Krishna Gopal Hari..." by the music choir. The life of Lord Krishna was beautifully depicted by Sonakshi Narula through her verse. Decked up as Sri Radha -Krishna, the saplings of Shishu Vatika perfectly portrayed their innocence, mischief and playful nature. Students of class I to IX exhibited their excitement, euphoria and joyous spirit of enthrallment by passionately participating in numerous activities like crown making, doorstep rangoli designing, matka decoration, mor-pankh craft, flute decoration, cradle decoration and bunting-making. An aura of serenity prevailed through devotional bhajans sung by students of class X . Aesthetic artists of XI and XII paid obeisance to the 'Avatar of God Vishnu' as they came up with beautiful paintings. A mesmerizing dance performance by the students enhanced the spirit of festivity. Mr Harmesh (PGT ) articulated the incarnation of Lord Krishna and tales of Bhakti rasa, illustrating the fact that whenever there will be dominance of malevolence 'He' will reincarnate to destroy the evil and establish the righteousness. Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal greeted the students on this pious occasion and exhorted everyone to follow the path of righteousness by adopting a noble character.
