PARIVARTAN – A TRANSFORMATIONAL JOURNEY
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar, showcased exuberant extravaganza in Annual Cultural and Prize Distribution function, 2014-15 with an illuminating theme of ‘PARIVARTAN’  - A Defining Change. Dr. Surjit Singh Patar, eminent Punjabi poet presided over as the Chief guest and BVM alumnus Mrs. Ranjana Sood, HOD Economics, SDP College Ludhiana was the guest of honour. ‘Parivartan’ commenced with the Deep Prajwalan by the luminaries and was followed by ‘Tripura Vandana’ marking the march from ignorance to enlightenment, from vice to virtue. ‘Arambh Hai Prachand’ the Tandav Nritya exhibited energy at its peak. Little wonders of ‘Kids Fantasia’ through their tapping feet stole every heart. ‘Dancing Damsels’ mesmerized one and all with their fluttering fans and umbrellas. Hindi play ‘Badalte Rishte’ focused on the changing relationship of teacher and taught ‘Panchtatva’ highlighted the importance of 5 elements. Star performances of the function was Commando dance –‘Veergati’ projecting the selfless journey of a commando, who sacrifices his life for the sake of his country and countrymen. It was a tribute to unfateful tragedy of 26/11 at hotel Taj. Another hair raising presentation ‘Tab Se Ab Tak’ Choroeographed pre – Independence Saga to the present age preservation of liberty and unity. Position holders of 2014 and Meritorious students of class X  were awarded and their parents were also acknowledged for supporting their wards for their brilliant academic achievements. Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and worthy members of the Trust    Sh. S.D. Joshi Ji(Pesident, BVM Trust), Sh. KC Maini Ji, (Secretary), Sh. OP Sabharwal Jiz (Manager),Sh. MM Vyas ji,Sh. MM Bamba Ji, Sh. RK Behal Ji, Sh. RK Gupta Ji appreciated the function from the core of their hearts and blessed the students. The gala extravaganza concluded with scintillating performance of Bhangra, Gidha and Grand Finale.
