To acknowledge the dauntless courage and valour of Indian soldiers, BVM (USN) celebrated 50th Vijay Diwas, commemorating the victory of Indian army over Pakistan in the 1971 war. Young bravehearts of, class I saluted the Tricolor the symbol of our pride and esteem, displaying the national insignia and govt. principles through admirable drawings. In addition, bodacious BVMites of class II paid homage through melodious songs to all the martyrs who made supreme sacrifices on December 16, 1971. After the salutation ceremony, Mrs. Monica (PRT) apprised everyone that it was a proud moment for the Indian army as it played keyrole in the liberation and formation of a new country- Bangladesh. Paying tribute to the martyred soldiers, Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal said "Contribution of Indian army can never be forgotten, martyrs don't die, they continue to live in our hearts as inspiration.”
