Republic Day and Voters’ Day is celebrated with patriotic fervor and velour by the secondary and senior secondary section in Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Udham Singh Nagar, Ludhiana. Mansi Dhall of IX A highlighted the importance of ‘Voters’ Day’ and the entire school pledged to judiciously use the right to vote. The students presented the mesmerizing patriotic song ‘ Mera Rashtra Mahaan’. Tamanna expressed her views on ‘Republic Day’. Students of IX class performed cultural dance which filled the air with nationalistic zeal and enthusiasm. Sh. O.P.Sabharwal ji, the manager of the school addressed the students and teachers highlighting India’s flight to progress with all its diversity. Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi conveyed her valuable message to boost the nationalistic spirit amongst the students.
In the kindergarten section of the school, tiny tots came dressed in beautiful yellow attires. Amrit, Samridhi and Radhika were crowned as Ms. Basant. Dhruv, Shubham and Aarav were crowned as Mr. Basant. Manav of class Nursery spoke few lines on republic day.The children worshipped the goddess Saraswati with yellow flowers in their little hands under the guidance of the Kindergarten incharge, Mrs. Anita Marwaha.
