The cultivation of the invincible and indefatigable spirit governed the motivational lecture for girls delivered by Commanding Officer Col. Sh. Sandeep Bhatia of 3PB(G) BN NCC at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar. The lighting of the ceremonial lamp by chief guest marked the beginning of the function that was followed by Saraswati Vandana. The patriotic song ‘Assi watan de rakhe haan’ invigorated the students to be committed towards nation. Samridhi, a 10th class NCC student inspired the girls to join NCC for the sake of the service to nation and for the purpose of self defence. A cultural extravaganza added charm to the programme of patriotic fervor. Gunjan, Sakshi and Shruti mesmerized the audience with their enthralling moves of classical dance – Ganesh Vandana P.P.T. on NCC filled the students with great exuberance and determination to be a committed cadet. Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi proposed the vote of thanks and said that girls participation in NCC is the need of the hour.
