The 70th Independence day was celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm in BVM(USN) premises to commemorate the struggle of freedom fighters. Sh. O.P. Sabharwal ji, member of BVM Trust graced the occasion with his elegant presence. The celebrations commenced with ‘Deep Parjawalan’ ceremony. Thereafter conceited member of BVM Trust along with Principal and coordinators unfurled the tri-colour. All sang national anthem in unison saluting our pride, the national flag and took pledge to serve the motherland with devotion and sanctity.
Mrs. Aditi Brar, the commerce teacher emancipated an inspiring speech on the auspicious eve awakening everyone. A melodious patriotic song presented by the students of VIII to XI boosted the national spirit in all. Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi ji congratulated everyone on the fateful occasion and motivated the teachers to make their students equipped with the modern technique, responding to the change and to make the teaching methodology flexible as per the requirements of the students, be self driven, self motivated and self directed not waiting for the commands only then we will be relishing true freedom. Sh.O.P.Sabharwal ji, a witness to the freedom struggle also shared his memories with the teachers. The function concluded with the recitation of Vande Matram.
