Keeping up with the tradition of celebrating all the festivals with great fervor and gaiety and appraising the children of their rich culture and heritage Baisakhi Celebration was held in Bhartitya Vidya Mandir, Shishu Vatika , Cemetery Road. The school premises were aptly decorated depicting the harvest season. Children were explained about the importance of their festival by showcasing a Punjabi village scene. Dhol Beat and Punjabi folk music added to their excitement. K.G. students tapped their feet on “aao Gidha Pa Liye”. It was a treat to see the children in a colourful Punjabi Traditional outfit. Mrs. Anita Marwaha wished all the students a very happy Baisakhi.
