About School

Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, U.S.N, a co-educational institution founded in 1971 sprawls over 7845 sq. yards, initially affiliated to P.S.E.B. Mohali from 1970-2012, affiliated to CBSE in 2013, follows a broad and balanced curriculum and a wide range of extra-curricular activities to develop confidence , skills, and effective learning among the students not only in academics but also in their wider life. Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, a unique blend of Bhartiya Sanskriti and modern techno-knowledge believes in all round development of the child. By touching the tender hearts to explore their latent qualities and capabilities, providing them a canvas to paint a sparkling rainbow with the colour of their dreams, but still attach their roots. The school believes in empowering the children guiding them to carve out a niche for themselves in today’s competitive world. The school provides them sunshine and space so that they can flutter towards the new horizons and define the future of this great nation. Every year excellent results are produced and new milestones are set in academics as well as sports and extra-curricular activities.

Founder members of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Trust in 1968, resolved to take up the cause of education as a mission and stepped forward to shoulder the responsibility of educating the masses and spreading the awareness in resurgence of India in the post independence era. A seed was planted by the Trust at the Malerkotla House (Cemetery Road), grew up successfully by leaps and bounds with its deep rooting in the great human values of Indian culture and heritage. The school got affiliated with P.S.E.B, Mohali in 1977. The school got switched over from the state Board to CBSE in the year 2013

Moulding young minds in accordance with true Bhartiyan Sanskriti to meet the modern challenges successfully and transform the society by ushering in an era of mutual equality, cultural integrity and economic prosperity.

At BVM we have a vision of touching the tender hearts; of providing meaningful holistic and techno education on the wings of opportunities; of raising a race of responsible citizen with an aura of happiness intelligence and ability with minds firmly rooted in the sacred soil of tradition & culture and reflecting lofty ideals of great sages & philosophers of Bharat like Swami Vivekananda, Sr. Aurobindo, & Shivaji.

It is for the information of all that school will get over at 11:30 am for all the classes on the second and fourth Saturday of every month(refer to page number 2 of the school diary). 
The account office will remain open for full day.

We are delighted to welcome all the students, ready to embark on a year filled with learning, growth, and success.

The school timings will be as follows:

LKG & UKG: 7:55 am to 12:30 pm

Classes I to X: 7:55 am to 2:00 pm

Classes XI & XII: 7:55 am to 12:50 pm

*The students must report in proper Summer school uniform.

*Attendance is mandatory for all the students as photographs for I-Cards will be clicked tomorrow.
 
REGARDING APAAR ID WORK
 
APAAR which stands for Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry is a government issued 12 digit identification system designed for all the students in India.

It enable students access to all academic credits including mark sheets, certificates and co-curricular achievements.

Parents are requested to print the consent form available on the link >( CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD APAAR_ID CONSENT FORM ), and deposit the signed copy along with photocopy of identity proof of parents at school reception on or before 30-12-2024.
