To raise awareness and foster a deep, personal connection between students and nature, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar, joyfully celebrated Van Mahotsav Week from 1st to 7th July. Highlighting the urgent need for a green drive, the committed BVMites pledged to protect and preserve the environment.
Young ecologists of Class V planted saplings, spreading the fragrance of love and concern for nature. Students of Class VII showcased their creativity through impactful slogan writing on "Say No to Plastic". Class VIII students made vibrant posters on the theme "Green Earth, Clean Earth", while Class IX students engaged in a thought-provoking group discussion on "Nurture Nature, Save the Future".
Parineeti of Class VII captivated everyone with her message through poem on Van Mahotsav and Harleen of Class IX inspired all to plant more trees through her motivating speech. Principal Mrs Seema Gupta encouraged the students to actively participate in tree plantation drives, emphasizing that trees play a crucial role in maintaining ecological balance. She reminded everyone that it is the responsibility of every citizen not only to plant trees but also to nurture and protect them.
