BVM USN Excels in National Open Oratory Contest-  'The Spiritual Eloquence'
 

Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar, made a remarkable mark at the city-level in the prestigious NATIONAL OPEN ORATORY CONTEST- THE SPIRITUAL ELOQUENCE organized by DHYAN-KAKSH, SATYUG DARSHAN SANGEET KALA KENDRA and the HUMANITY DEVELOPMENT CLUB. This contest promotes equanimity and even-sightedness through the art of oratory. It's a matter of immense pleasure that in the Ankur category (Classes 6th to 8th), Plaksha Bhandari, Class VII ,  has been selected to represent the school at the State-level Competition, impressing judges with her outstanding oratory skills . Out of the 50 selected nationwide participants, four are from Punjab, and Plaksha of BVM, USN, the stellar performer is one among the two selected participants from Ludhiana. Principal, Mrs Seema Gupta forwarded her heartiest congratulations to Plaksha and her mentor, Ms. Pallavi and also wished them good luck for the upcoming State-level Competition.



 
BVMUSN SHINES BRIGHT AT ZONAL ATHLETIC MEET« 12/Sep/2024

Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, USN, has once again reaffirmed its legacy of excellence, with its students delivering stellar performances at the prestigious Zonal Level Athletic Meet held on 12th September 2024 at Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana. Organized by the School Games Federation of India, the event witnessed fierce competition, but the athletes from BVM emerged as true champions.
In the highly competitive Shot Put event , Vaibhav Rawat (Vlll) claimed the coveted first position, showcasing extraordinary strength, precision, and technique. His triumphant victory has earned him a well-deserved spot at the District Level, marking a significant milestone for the young athlete and the school.
Adding to this string of achievements, Gautam Rawat of class (X) displayed sheer determination and finesse in the Javelin Throw event , where he clinched the impressive second position . His remarkable performance also secured him a place in the upcoming District Level competition, further elevating the school's standard in sports.
The Principal, Mrs. Seema Gupta , expressed immense pride in the achievements of Vaibhav and Gautam, praising their unwavering dedication and hard work. She extended her heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Sukhwinder and the entire Physical Department commending their exemplary dedication.

BVM USN Celebrates a Thunderous Triumph with THREE IDEAS Selected among Top 500 in Youth Ideathon 2024, Winning INR 1000/- each

With immense pride and excitement, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Udham Singh Nagar, announces an extraordinary achievement at the national stage. Three visionary projects of the school have secured a coveted spot in the top 500 at the prestigious Youth Ideathon 2024, marking a significant milestone in a journey fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
The selected projects are:

CATEGORY:INNOVATION 

E-waste Mechanical Fat Churner, innovatively developed by Siya and Megha of Class VIII, alongside Vansh Malhota, Lovish Chitkara and Saavi Gupta of Class VII. 

Team Aqua Avengers with their cutting-edge project on Marine Bio Indicators Drones, was presented by Vinayak Grover, Vaibhav Garcha, Yagneesh Nirmaan, Dhvanni, and Ridhi Jain of Class IX. 

CATEGORY:ENTREPRENEURSHIP 

Adversity to Opportunity: The Husk Entrepreneurs, selected under the Entrepreneurship category, showcasing creative solutions to real-world challenges was presented by Pratham of class XI, Garv of class X, Yagneesh , Vaibhav Garcha and  Dhvanni of class IX. 

All three projects have been guided and mentored by the visionary Mr. Narendra Singh Rawat. Each team will receive a Prototype Development grant of INR 1,000×3=3000, to bring their ideas to life.

BVMUSN BRIMS WITH VICTORIOUS SPIRIT AT DISTRICT LEVEL HANDBALL TOURNAMENT« 31/Aug/2024

 
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar, celebrated yet another remarkable victory at the District Level Handball Tournament (Under 19), organized by the District Tournament Committee under SGFI on 31st August, 2024 at PAU School.
Budding sports stars, Bharat (XII) and Rahul (XI), showcased their exceptional skills, bringing laurels to the school by winning the first position. Principal Mrs Seema Gupta congratulated the winners on their outstanding achievement and praised Mr. Ravi Kumar and the Physical Education Department for its dedicated efforts in nurturing the students’ talents.


 
NOTABLE VICTORY OF BVMITES AT 68th DISTRICT LEVEL KICK BOXING TOURNAMENT« 30/Aug/2024

68th District Level Kickboxing Tournament 2024-25 was held at BVM USN and GHS, Devtwal  on 28th and 28th August respectively, under SGFI. Bhartiyan Kickboxers stamped their supremacy yet again in the game by clinching 21 Medals in various categories and also grabbed the title 'All over Champion', First Position holders in U-14 and U-17 category. 




 
BVMUSN EXCELS AT TECHNOVENZA 2024« 30/Aug/2024

The students of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Udham Singh Nagar, have once again showcased their excellence in science and technology by securing top honors at TECHNOVENZA 2024, held at BCM School, Pakhowal Road, Basant City, Ludhiana. The event brought together bright minds from various schools, with BVM students standing out for their innovative spirit and technical expertise.
In the Robotics in Education category, BVM students Madhav Mittal and Dhairya Sharma, both from Class IX, won First Position with their project titled *"Automated Smart Writer." Their project, which automated the writing process using robotics, captivated the judges with its creativity, practicality and potential application in education, earning them the top spot.
In the Environmental Science category, Aryan Munjal from Class VIII and Saavi Gupta from Class VII secured Second position with their project addressing key environmental issues and proposing sustainable solutions. Their innovative approach to environmental awareness and problem-solving, earned them accolades.
Principal Mrs. Seema Gupta congratulated the students and their mentors for their outstanding achievements. “Our students have demonstrated incredible talent and dedication,” she remarked, “their success at TECHNOVENZA 2024 is a testament to their hard work and our school’s commitment to fostering innovation and excellence. In a stellar display of skill and dedication, students from B.V.M (USN) excelled at the 68th District-Level Yoga Championship organized by the District School Education Department under SGFI. The event, held at B.V.M(K.N) witnessed remarkable performances from the school boys and girls of BVM USN, who showcased their talents in Rhythmic and Artistic Yoga, winning several medals across various categories.

A standout performance was delivered by Raghuvansh Sharma of Class XI C1, who has been selected to represent the school at District Leve l Tournament. His exceptional skills and sportsmanship have earned him this well-deserved recognition. BVM Udham Singh Nagar is thrilled to announce that  bodacious Bvmites secured FIRST POSITION in the LSSC Mime Competition held at Atam Public School. Twenty-six teams from reputed schools in the city participated and enthusiastic  mime artists of  BVM USN added another feather to school's cap by showcasing their exceptional talent and ability to excel. The team was awarded a trophy and the participants received certificates for their extraordinary performance. The volleyball champions of BVM Udham Singh Nagar secured a remarkable second position at the Zonal Volleyball Tournament organized by the School Games Federation of India. The event took place at Guru Nanak Stadium in Ludhiana on 30th and  31st July, 2024.

BVMites ( USN) brought honor to their alma mater by earning spots in the trials for the Junior National Kurash Championship, set to take place in August. A total of 120 players from seven districts participated in the trials. Demonstrating exceptional agility and skill, nine of the outstanding players have been selected:

Panshul, Jasmeet, Prashant, and Sakshi in Group 3 

The Junior National Kurash Championship will be held from August 4th to August 6th, 2024, in Saharanpur . BVMUSN CADETS SHINE AT NCC CAMP« 12/Jul/2024


The NCC cadets of BVM USN displayed remarkable talent and determination at the NCC camp held at GHG Khalsa College, Gurusar Sadhar, from July 2 to July 11, 2024 .The camp aimed to enhance physical fitness, teamwork, and leadership skills.Students participated in a range of activities and achieved significant accolades.
Damanpreet Kaur secured first place in the poster-making competition, while Ritika Yadav clinched first place in shot put and second place in the 100m race. Their hard work and dedication brought immense pride to the school.In an exceptional achievement, Ritika Yadav (IX-D), Deeksha (IX-C), and Mannat Sonker (IX-D) got selected to represent the school and the NCC unit at the prestigious REPUBLIC DAY Camp in New Delhi. This selection is a testament to their exceptional skills and dedication. In the assembly, Principal, Mrs. Seema Gupta honoured and applauded the accomplishments and  the strenuous efforts of the cadets and their mentor, Geeta Mishra .

BVMUSN BUDDING SCIENTISTS SHINE IN DISTRICT LEVEL INSPIRE MANAK AWARD SCIENCE EXHIBITION« 06/Jul/2024

Brilliant budding innovators Goransh Mittal ( Xl med) and Vinayak Grover (IX) of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar brought laurels to the school by achieving unparalleled success in District level science exhibition   held at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College Ludhiana on July 5,2024 - July 6,2024.  A total of 68 models participated in this district level Inspire Award science exhibition, and 8 models were selected for the state level, including our model "Pre-Alarming Tremor Detector and Lives Savior." 

Another exhibit Smart Shed Greenery Enhanced Moisture Control prepared by
Vinayak Grover(IX) also won special appreciation of the visitors.
Students and guide teachers received trophies, kits, and certificates in recognition of their contributions. Along  with this award, which was received as a result of tireless hard work, dedication and devotion towards the new inventions of science by these students. 
On this special achievement, Principal Mrs. Seema Gupta congratulated the winners and their mentor, Mr. Narendra Singh Rawat(TGT Science) and also inspired all the students to reveal the hidden talent inherent in them in the field of science and wished the winners good luck for their future endeavours.

BVMUSN EARNS RECOGNITION FOR ENVIRONMENTAL EFFORTS« 27/Jun/2024

Bhartiya Vidya Mandir (USN) was honored by  Energy Swaraj Foundation with an Appreciation Certificate for supporting successful completion of Letter Writing Campaign on World Environment Day to the Honorable Prime Minister .This honour acknowledged  school's dedication to foster environmental awareness to become responsible stewards of planet.
The campaign aimed to encourage all to voice their concerns and recommendations regarding environmental issues including pollution, climate change, deforestation & the vital need of sustainable energy. 
Focusing on themes of energy conservation and  acknowledging efforts of school to environmental sustainability, this honour was extended.
 Principal Mrs. Seema Gupta opined that this is a validation of collective and collaborative concrete efforts by Bhartiya Vidya Mandir and motivates all to strive for even greater environmental stewardship.

 

BVM USN NCC CADETS EXCEL AT ANNUAL TRAINING CAMP 2024« 18/Jun/2024

The National Cadet Corps of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar, Ludhiana, made a remarkable impact at the NCC Annual Training Camp held from June 7 to June 16 at Khalsa College for Women, Ludhiana. Under the guidance of ANO Mrs. Geeta Mishra , our dynamic and spirited cadets outperformed participants from various schools in the city, securing accolades in different competitions.

NITI AAYOG AWARDED BVMUSN , CERTIFICATION OF ACHIEVEMENT« 12/Jun/2024

A moment of immense elation for BVM, USN as NITI Aayog awarded the school  'Certificate of Achievement' for celebrating Community Day on 18th April, 2024 in its Atal Tinkering Lab. This certification acknowledges BVM's commitment to nurturing the country's young innovators and organizing community initiatives. Principal Mrs. Seema Gupta lauded the sincere efforts of ATL in-charge Mr. Narendra Singh Rawat and wished him good luck in future ventures.
 

PRATISHTHA JAIN OF BVMUSN EMERGES CITY TOPPER IN XII BOARD RESULTS - 2024« 13/May/2024

    
 
With an unwavering commitment to academic excellence and sheer dedication, the students of BVM, Udham Singh Nagar have once again demonstrated their remarkable talent and diligence, achieving outstanding results in the board examination 2024.
Partishtha Jain has emerged as the CITY TOPPER, securing an exceptional 99% in Class XII FMM, showcasing her academic brilliance and unwavering determination. Following closely, Ria Kumari secured the second position in school with an impressive 95.4%, while Ridham Jain secured the third position with 86.6%. 
In the Commerce stream, Chahat Arora secured the first position with a remarkable score of 96%, closely followed by Vardaan Verma at second position with 95.4% and Gunjan Mittal at third position with 92.4%. 
In the Medical stream, Khushi Nirman clinched the first position with 94.2%, followed by Karamdeep Kaur at second position with 92.6% and Palak Gupta securing the third position with 87.6%. 
Topping the Non-Medical stream are Gaurav Kakkar with 90.6%, Khushi Sharma and Sanchita with 88.4% and Janvi Rawat with 87% securing the first, second and third positions respectively.
In Class X Rizul Jain clinched first position securing 98.6% Gourav grabbed second position with 97.2 % &  Neha  bagged third position with 94.2% respectively.

The talented ATL inventors have rightfully claimed their place atop the podium of success. Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh nagar proudly announces its remarkable success at the art and craft exhibition cum sale hosted by Ryan International School. Ten immensely talented young Entrepreneurs showcased their creativity and craftsmanship through exquisite pots, watches and other artifacts. Through the ingenious repurposing of materials that would otherwise go waste, the students not only demonstrated their artistic prowess but also championed environmental consciousness. Their creations captivated the audience and earned both praise and price from judges and visitors. Principal, Mrs. Seema Gupta commended the Art department for nurturing a culture of creativity and innovation and congratulated the students for their first hands-on experience on  entrepreneurship.

The talented young innovators of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar, brought great honor to their school through their remarkable achievements in the field of science. Pratham and Rizul from XI showcased their science project online, focusing on the principle of  'Refraction of Light,' under the guidance of their mentor, Narendra Singh Rawat (ATL Incharge). Their outstanding performance earned them the prestigious title of  'National Qualifier 2023.' Principal , Mrs. Seema Gupta extended her heartfelt congratulations to the participants and urged all students to continue their journey of exploration in the fascinating realm of science, striving for excellence in every endeavor.

The talented athletes of BVM (USN) showcased their prowess at the State Level Khed Mela - Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan, claiming a notable cash prize of Rs 10,000. The U-14 Boys team secured the Bronze Medal, with Panshul Sharma (VII) and Prashant (VIII) each earning a Bronze Medal and cash prize of Rs 5000/- . 
Demonstrating unwavering dedication and exceptional skills, the students exhibited true sportsmanship and discipline. Principal , Mrs. Seema Gupta congratulated the winners, acknowledging their hard work, perseverance, and the exemplary coaching provided by their mentor Mrs.Deepika.

    Four champs of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar displayed their Squay Martial Arts I 59th National School Games (2013-14) organized by SGFI in Delhi from 1st Jan to 8th Jan,2014. The BVMites brought glory to the school’s name by winning accolades. Vaibhav and Gaurav (Under – 14) participated in open and 41Kg (weight category) respectively and bagged a silver each. Meghna (Under -17) and Manraj (Under – 19) followed the same saga and won a bronze each in the open category.  Sh. K.C. Maini(Secretary, BVM Trust), Sh. O.P.Sabharwal (Manager, BVM USN), Sh. Mangat Thakur (E.O) and  The Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi applauded and appreciated the incessant efforts put in by the students as well as the sports teachers Mr. Baljeet Gill and Mrs. Wadhera. All the faces shone amid the crescendo of cheers and claps.

     
    BVM’S  teacher honoured for her selfless service
     
    CBSE celebrated National Education Day on 11th  of November to mark the Birthday of 1st Education Minister of Independent India  Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. Entries from all over India were invited for the same and out of 8 zones, 16 teachers were selected for their exemplary and torch bearing contribution in spreading education among the masses especially the under privileged and making a positive difference in their lives. A dedicated and devoted teacher of B.V.M (USN), Mrs. Rajni Arora was  one out of ‘the two selected teachers from Panchkula region. In the second round these selected teachers had to present their work in the form of Power Point Presentation or some documentary. Mrs. Rajni along with her student Nav Rattan presented a very motivating and inspiring documentary depicting their incessant efforts. They both were awarded Rs. 10,000/- along with certificate of honour for their selfless service towards mankind.

    Golden Victory for BVM (USN)
     
    The whole B.V.M (USN) campus was brimming with victorious smiles and thunder of joys when NCC cadets brought school the laurels by winning eleven gold and one silver medal at Annual Training Camp of No.4 Pb Air Sqn NCC which was held at Dhanansu from 1st Nov. to 9th Nov under the Wing Commander S.S.Kaila. More than 650 students from different schools and colleges of Ludhiana District participated in Annual Training Camp. 10 students from BVM (USN) participated in the camp. One of our student Priyanka (+2 Com A4), declared as the best cadet among senior wing and added four gold medals in BVM’s cap. Priyanka’s victorious solo dance performance left everyone enthralled and won her a gold. Shivali Singla (+1 Com A1) got gold medals in shooting as well as in football, Jyoti (+1 Com A4) also won a gold in football and a gift hamper for participating in Static Aeromodelling. Karan Arora (+2 Sci A2) got a gold in Volleyball while Ankit Sharma (+2 Sci A3) bagged a gold in cricket. Shivali Verma (+2 Com A4) and Priyanka (+2 Com A4) bagged gold medals in 2km Marathon and football. The Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi and Mr. O.P. Sabharwal Ji, Manager BVM (USN) appreciated and applauded the efforts put in by the students.   

    YOUNG ARTISTS OF BVM, USN SHOWCASED CREATIVITY
     
    Art Competition was organized by S.K.Bikes in which about 750 students from classes I to VIII participated enthusiastically. Two participants Sapna of II B and Janik Raju of VIII A exhibited their artistic excellence and won bicycles. A gift hamper and free gift coupon of Rs. 750/- each were awarded to 9 students for their excellent performance. 30 students were honoured with certificates. Mr. Subhash Lakkra appreciated the participants for their stupendous performance and for exploring their creativity. The school was honoured for the maximum and exuberant performance. Members of the Managing Committee- Sh. O.P.Sbharwal ji, Sh. K.C.Maini ji, Sh. M.M.Bamba ji and the Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi thanked S.K.Bikes for organizing such competitions and giving an opportunity to the budding artists.

    BVM (USN) BAGGED FIRST PRIZE AT INSPIRE CAMP-2013
    It was a red letter day for young Bhartiyans of U.S.N. In the model making competition at ‘Inspire Camp,2013’ held by Department of Science and Technology at ISF College of Pharmacy, Moga. Two models –‘Borewell Rescue Device’ and ‘Transportation and Communication’ were displayed, out of which the former prepared by Shubham Kareer, Sahil Soni and Sahil Kashyap under the able guidance of Mrs. Kavita Sharma and Mr. Narinder Singh Rawat was adjudjed the best one bagging the first prize of Rs. 21,000/-. Students were honoured by Prof. SS.Gill, Vice Chancellor, Baba Farid University, Mr. Praveen Bansal, Joint Director, Baba Farid University and Mr. Aarti Deshmukh, CEO- Lab Ultima
    All the winners were highly appreciated by the Manager), Sh. O.P. Sabharwal Ji and the benevolent member of BVM Trust, Sh. M.M. Bamba ji. The Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi ji congratulated the winners and the teachers and motivated others for their participation in the upcoming competition.

    Bhartiyan Quill shines at State Level

     
    Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar’s Jasmeet Kaur (IX-A), the girl with the golden pen, won accolades for the institution by bagging the first prize in the state level essay writing competition on the topic ‘Jal Hi Jeevan Hai’ organized by  Shri Prakash Kaushalya Devi Memorial Trust on Aug13,2013. Out of the two categories of 106 participants, Jasmeet’s essay was adjudged the best. Shri Avinash Rai Khanna(Member Rajya Sabha) and Shri Des Raj Sharma(Principal, S.D. Sarvahitkari Vidya Mandir, Talwara) honoured the budding writer with a cash prize of Rs 1500, a certificate and a memorable poetic inscription. The members of B.V.M. Trust, Shri M.M.Vyas ji (secretry), Shri Phool Chand ji (Vice President) and Ms. Harmeet Kaur (Princpal, Nankana Public School) graced the occasion with their presence and felicitated the winner with their whole-hearted appreciation. It was a matter of pride and honour for the girl’s parents, Shri Sarabjeet Singh and Smt Harpreet Kaur, when the blessings were showered on their daughter. Vote of thanks was proposed by the school principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi. Sh. Avinash Rai Khanna Ji gave the slogan “Everyone everyday save one liter of water” in his speech.
