An ardent Volleyball player of BVM USN showcased howling success by grabbing Gold at District level  Volleyball Tournament in U-17 category at Guru Nanak Stadium,  Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan. Showcasing certain skills and integrity  the young  virtuoso Akshat Bhandari brought laurels to the school as he got selected for the State Level Volleyball Tournament.  The zestful player proved that opportunities don't happen,  you create them.
Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal congratulated  Akshat and his mentor  Mr. Sukhwinder Singh for the crowning glory and wished him good luck for the next level.

BVM USN CLINCHED SILVER MEDAL IN DISTRICT VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT

BVM USN witnessed another sports achievement as its sports champions proved their mettle in Punjab school games district level Volleyball Tournament held at Guru Nanak Stadium on 28-09-23 and 29-09-23 . The team comprised of three students Harshit Jindal- VIII B,Geetansh of class VIII D and Tanish Kumar - VIII A.  Out of these Harshit Jindal got selected for State level . Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal applauded the winners along with their mentor and wished them good luck for the next level.
 

BVM USN SPARKLES IN KICKBOXING« 29/Sep/2023

Another colourful feather of achievement adorned the sparkling crown of BVM (USN) as the energetic Bvmites proved their mettle in the KICKBOXING SCHOOL DISTRICT TOURNAMENT held at Government High School, Devatwal on 28th Sep, 2023 organised by School Games Federation of India. It's a matter of immense pride that  our skillful BVMITES Ansh Jain and Krishna Sharma battled tactfully showcasing their unmatched skills in Kickboxing and grabbed Bronze Medals in the category of U/14 boys. Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal congratulated the winners along with their mentor and wished them good luck for their future endeavours.

BVM USN LIFTS OVERALL CHAMPIONS TROPHY IN DISTRICT JUDO TOURNAMENT

Another quill of achievement adorned in the dazzling  crown of BVM USN as Bvmites proved their mettle in the School district Judo Championship organised by School Games Federation of India, held at Guru Nanak stadium Ludhiana on 26-09-2023 & 27-09-2023 . It is a matter of immense pride that Bvmites grabbed  various medals in under 17 boys District Judo Championship.

​BVM USN SPARKLES AT FREE STYLE WRESTLING TOURNAMENT
A moment of elation, pride and exhilaration for BVM (USN) once again as its budding wrestlers of Class V brought laurels to the school by grabbing Gold in (U -11) Free Style Wrestling Tournament, held at GOVT. SCHOOL , GOVIND NAGAR  for Primary Section , conducted by SGFI. The competition witnessed intense battles on the wrestling mat, where Vividh Joshi in 30 kg-weight category and Bhavish Saini in 32 kg- weight category shone brightly and emerged victorious in their categories. Displaying their exceptional skills, strength and determination, the budding wrestlers grabbed Gold  at the tournament. Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal appreciated the outstanding achievement of the winners and conveyed best wishes for their upcoming future ventures.
 

BVMUSN OUTSHINES IN KHEDAN WATAN PUNJAB DIYAN« 12/Sep/2023

A moment of exhilaration  and elevation for BVM USN as the budding Sports stars Kunal Chaudhary and Nirbhay Singh brought laurels to the institution by showcasing their marvelous athletic skills in block level- Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan ", held at P.A.U. on 07-09-2023. Kunal Chaudhary grabbed First position in Shot Put (Discus throw) (U-21) and Nirbhay Singh grabbed Second Position in Discus throw (U-21) and both got selected for District Level Tournament. Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal congratulated the winners for their stupendous achievement and also lauded ardent endeavours of Physical Education Department.

A moment of great pride was witnessed at BVM USN as the Sports champ Vaibhav Rawat brought laurels to the Institution by showcasing his abundant energy and determination in block level- '' Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan' held at P.A.U.on   05-09-2023. Winning First position he grabbed Gold Medal in shot put (U-14) and got selected for District Level Tournament. Dr BML Munjal Centennial Technovenza- 2023, fest for Science ,Maths and Innovation - an inspiring Inter School Tinkering and Innovation Competition was  held on 2nd Sep.2023. It was a glorious moment as young and enthusiastic innovators- Monu Kumar (XI) and Aditya Mehra (IX) clinched first position in Category A- Robotics , projecting the theme SMART GREEN GUARDIAN under the able mentorship of Mr Narender Rawat (their Science teacher). Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal appreciated the unbridled enthusiastic efforts of the budding tinkers and wished them good luck for their future endeavours.
 

GLITTERING GEM OF BVMUSN AKSHAT BHANDARI GETS SELECTED FOE STATE LEVEL VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT

Sports gems of BVM (USN) soared to victory in Punjab School District level Volleyball Tournament , organized  from 31-08-23 to 01-09-23 at Guru Nanak Stadium Ludhiana. 
All the teams exhibited exceptional prowess. Dynamic Akshat Bhandari (XI) , member of PAU Zonal Team clinched Gold medal & got selected for STATE LEVEL TOURNAMENT. 
U/14 Boys Volleyball Team grabbed Second position in  Zonal  Level Volleyball Tournament held from 31-08-23 to 01-09-23 at Govt. College boys ludhiana. All the budding sports stars showcased  the result of rigorous training and a passion in the tournament. 
Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal congratulated the winners & their mentor Mr Sukhwinder Singh (TGT) for the outstanding performance & bringing school a trove of medals that highlighted their dedication and training in the discipline of Volleyball.
 

BVM USN SHINES AT DISTRICT LEVEL YOGA CHAMPIONSHIP

BVM, (USN) witnessed  yet another wonderful achievement in sports as zestful, dynamic and agile Bvmites won accolades at district level Yoga championship is  organised by District Education Department under School Games Federation of India from 28th to 31st August 2023  Around 17 teams participated in this tournament. The high spirited sports champs of BVM (USN ) showcased their excellent flexibility and stamina in various yoga asanas.

U-14 Girls team -Ananta Gulati,Sugandha Gulati and Khushpreet, grabbed 3rd position.
 
U-14 boys team - Veeraj Yadav, Devyansh Kashyap, Divansh Yadav, Dewansh Bhardwaj, Vinayak and Divas, got 2nd position. 
Veeraj Yadav and Divyansh Yadav got selected for state level. 

U-17 Boys team won first position . Gourav Rawat, Jashan Saini, Ansh Yadav,Tajus Verma and Kuldeep all are selected for state level. 
In individual events 

U-14 Girls , Ananta Gulati bagged gold medal in Artistic Yoga and got selected for state level. Sugandha Gulati clinched bronze medal in  Rhythmic Yoga.

U-17 Boys ,Gourav Rawat got Gold Medal in Artistic Yoga and got selected for state level. 
Jashan Saini won Silver Medal in Rhythmic yoga.

U-19 Boys, Monu Kumar bagged Silver Medal( Artistic)
Kishmat Sharma got Bronze Medal ( Rhythmic)

Total 7 boys and 1 girl got selected for state level.

BVM USN SHINES AT DISTRICT CHESS TOURNAMENT« 31/Aug/2023

District Chess Tournament was conducted at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Udham Singh Nagar from 28th to 30th August 2023 in the school auditorium with zeal and zest. It was neck to neck competition where confident Chess players from various schools of the district participated and gave their best to compete for the top slots. The tournament was held under three categories for different age groups. Our confident chess players proved too good for their opponents to grab positions. Our girls displayed their thinking and problem-solving skills and managed to grab 3rd position in U-19 category . Showcasing their patience and persistence, our boys chess masters also notched First position in U-19 category and secured Second position in U-17 category from  total 35 teams.
It is a matter of great pride as  our precious gems Prachi Madaan, Ansh Anand, Bisman Singh, Hemant Sharma got selected for State Level tournament .
Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal congratulated the winners for their astonishing achievement and motivated them to continue their spirit to win.

Bhartiya Vidya Mandir (USN) marked wonderful achievement in 7th National Kurash Championship held at Indore from 25th to 27th August 2023 , organised by Amateur Kurash Association M.P, under the auspices of Kurash Association of India.  450 players from about 27 states participated in it. 7 students from BVM USN zealously participated in this contest, in which Prashant Singh (VII) and Sidak (X) clinched Bronze medal in sub Junior Category. BVM USN shines at LSSC Radio Jockey Competition organised at Jesus Heart Sr. Sec. School, Ldh. It was a cut-throat competition where  around 27 teams from the various prestigious schools of the city participated. Exhibiting their exceptional skills, confidence and artistic prowess, radiant Radio Jockeys of BVM USN - Jiya Arora (XI Science) and Arsh Spall (IX) managed to grab Consolation prize.

A day of marvellous achievements for BVM (USN ) as Judo it's sports stars showcased their indomitable spirit at Open District Judo Championship  held at Guru Nanak Stadium organized by  District Judo Association on 12th August 2023 . 14 students of our school participated in the championship and its a matter of elation that our 10 bodacious bvmites grabbed  various medals.

BUDDING SCIENTIST OF BVM USN GETS HONOUR IN GYS AVISHKAR AWARDS- 2023

A moment of great pride and elation in BVM USN as its budding scientist GARV was honoured in the premises of ANDHRA PRADESH STATE COUNCIL OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (APCOST)-  A REGIONAL SCIENCE CENTER, BHAWANIPURAM , VIJAYWADA (GET A YOUNG SCIENTISTS PROGRAM) GYS AVISHKAR AWARDS- 2023 , A RENOWNED PLATFORM FOR GROOMING STUDENT INNOVATORS  FOR THE NATION. GARV ( lX) a DYNAMIC EMERGING SCIENTIST OF BVM USN gave a practical form to his project  THINK TASTE DRINK TASTE and bagged FIRST POSITION out of all the 31 participants of 11 states and was honoured with a cash prize of Rs 15,000/- alongwith his mentor Mr. Narendrer Singh Rawat winning cash prize of Rs. 5,000. Applauding their  efforts Principal Mrs. Ranju Mangal gave a message to the Bvmites to come forward and put their best in the scientific field to shine for their as well as  the nation's sake.

BCM Arya Model Sen Sec School organised various online and offline events for young innovators in Techmanthan 1.0. Various schools from all over the Punjab state participated in the competition. Young  innovators of BVM  Monu Kumar, Vansh Maggo  and Garv participated in various activities,and proved their mettle by grabbing Second Prize in C3  Maize - O - Mania .

NCC GIRLS CADETS SHINE WITH EXEMPLARY ACHIEVEMENTS AT TRAINING CAMP, CLAIMING MULTIPLE GOLD AND SILVER MEDALS« 21/Jul/2023

The National cadet corps  (NCC) girls of BVM,USN  have emerged victorious with an outstanding display of talent and determination at a recent training camp, held from 4th to 13th July '23 at Khalsa College for women.  An impressive showcase of skills resulting in the team securing numerous gold and silver medals in various categories was witnessed. Under the able guidance of their dedicated mentor and second officer Mrs Geeta Mishra, these 30 NCC girls cadets of 3 Girls Punjab Battalion exhibited exceptional prowess in a diverse range of disciplines- viz  group song, debate, races, poster making , shooting and won a total of 16 gold medals and 2 silver medals . Out of these 30 cadets, 4 girls cadets have been selected for THAL SENA CAMP for shooting and will be camping at Malaut. The winners were honoured by commanding officer Mr. R S Chauhan . Principal Mrs. Ranju Mangal expressed immense elation and pride in the achievements of these girls Cadets and said that their dedication ,discipline and sportsmanship reflected the ethos of NCC, fostering a generation of leaders and responsible citizens.
 

BVM USN SHINES IN HERITAGE QUIZ« 18/May/2023

Bvmites added a new feather to golden crown of BVM USN as its young participants brought laurels in Heritage India Quiz competition, under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, held by CBSE , Ministry of Education. This quiz was organised at the national level to raise awareness on the theme FREEDOM STRUGGLE OF INDIA. Qualifying in the top 30 schools from the region, dynamic Bvmites Himanshu Arora , Aashna Chopra and Naman Sharma (X) showcased their excellence over the theme and  furthermore  selected for the state level and bagged Appreciation certificates. BVM USN SHINES IN DISTRICT LEVEL OPEN DANCE COMPETITION      «16/May/2023

"Dance is a great art, by which not only the physical health is maintained but also spirituality can be attained. "
To encourage rising stars of dance Ubharte Sitaare- Dance and Modelling Competition was held at Shifaly International school , Ludhiana on 14th May. About 300 students showcased their talent on different songs. Passionate Bvmites exhibited their dancing skills in different categories and won prizes. Sonam won first prize in solo dance (Junior category). She was awarded with cash prize, a trophy and a certificate.Arsh (IX) got second prize and Akshara (IX) grabbed third position in solo dance (Senior category).Urshita and Dipika (IX) got third position in duo dance (Senior category) and Anu & Mamta (VII) got participation certificates. All stars were awarded with trophy and certificates.Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal highly praised the efforts of the students and their mentors - Mrs Priyanka Tiwari and Mr Raj Kumar and encouraged other students also to forward themselves in extra curricular activities, along with academics.

To highlight Punjabi culture and rich cultural heritage of Punjab "Bhangra Baisakhi Da", a state level solo dance competition was organised at CT University Ludhiana on 30th April. 250 students from different schools whirled and twirled to the rhythmic beats of melodious songs. Passionate Bvmite, Naitik of class VI exhibited his excellent dancing skills in this contest and grabbed third position. He is awarded a trophy and a medal . Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal highly praised the efforts of the student and his mentor Mrs Priyanka Tiwari and encouraged other students also to forward themselves in extra curricular activities, along with academics.

Another proud and elated moment for BVM (USN) as VINIYAK (VIII) has added another feather in the school's achievement tally by clinching a consolation prize in 28th Inter School Declamation contest held at Nehru Siddhant Kendra Ludhiana . 46 students from 23 prestigious  Institutions zealously participated  and were adjudged on the parameters of content, expression, gestures, pronunciation and confidence. A matter of great pride for BVM, Udham Singh Nagar, as its confident chess player Prachi Madaan (IX) brought laurels to the institution by grabbing 3rd position in Sixty Four Square- ChessTournament held at Jalandhar. Total 200 participants from different categories participated in the tournament, out of which passionate Prachi  clinched  3rd position in under-16 category among top 10 , showcasing her patience and  persistence. BVM WINS CLIMATE CLOCK FOR ENERY LITERACY CAMPAIGN

In order to provide an understanding of nature and role of energy in the world and daily lives BVM, USN participated  in  an online training program organised by Energy Swaraj Foundation of India  . More than 500 teachers and students participated in this Nation wide program   where they answered the questions in the form of quiz and got certificates. Acknowledging such a massive participation ,the school is honoured with a climate clock to sensitize the young generation of the devastating effect of human advancement on nature. Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal said that energy literacy education is an inter disciplinary approach towards teaching and learning and will ensure that individuals and the  communities make appropriate decisions therein.

Anshuman of class 3rd  participated in Hindi poetry competition in category l-lll themed ' Veer Ras' where as Ananta Gulati of class 5th participated in English poetry in category IV-V on the topic- 'Dreams of today's child'. Budding scientist Garv (VIII) of BVM (USN) emerged zealously jubilant in IISF, India International Science Festival-2022  organised in Bhopal from 21st to 24th January 2023.The aim of IISF is to engage the innovators with science and celebrate the joy of excellence in exploration of novel techniques of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Garv, who registered for the project Think Taste, Drink Taste was selected for his participation in the festival displaying his acumen in amazing test of nerves and skills in National level Science Competition.Wishing him all the best for the upcoming endeavours, Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal congratulated him and also lauded the relentless efforts of his mentor Mr Narendra Rawat for guiding him to reach the pinnacle of glory.

Infallible sports star Parul Makkar zealously participated in U/17 66th Punjab State Judo Championship ,organised by SGFI held at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Gymnasium Hall, GURDASPUR from 17/01/2023 to 18/01/2023.
Parul straddled like a colossus and showcased path-breaking performance by clinching Third position in the tournament. The qualities of spirit, strength and technique were at display during the competition.

A moment of exhilaration and elevation for BVM (USN) as its astute Bhartiyan Amrit Sharma (VIII) secured first position in 12th BOB Wonderkid Online Contest organised by Brain O' Brain. She is awarded with a trophy and a cash prize of 1000/- for winning  the competition. She grabbed first position in state level giving a tough competition to 14 intellects and 84th position on National Level out of 1872 contenders .
Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal congratulated the winner on her stellar performance  and motivated all the students to participate in such contests as it will enhance their cognitive skills .

BVM USN proved its mettle once again in LUDHIANA TALENT HUNT COMPETITION held at ISHMEET Singh Music and Dance Institute, Ludhiana. The dynamic dancers of BVM had a cut throat competition, but giving a mesmerising performance the dazzling dancers  - Annu , Arsh, Ganika, Navya, Radhika and Tanav grabbed special positions, winning -Individual Trophies and certificates in Solo Dance Competition whereas Akshara, Ganika and Arsh gave a startling performance in trio dance. Mrs Priyanka Tiwari (their Mentor and Dance teacher) participated in the Modelling Fame and Frame Show and got Miss Elegant Model Award and Award of Honour at the Ramp Show . The high spirited lads of BVM USN showcased their agility, flexibility and strength in various yoga asanas. Gaurav Rawat & Kunal Khapran won the Bronze Medal where as Ansh Yadav , Kismat Sharma, Tejas Verma and Karan Karakoti were honoured with the participation certificates. Yuvraj stamped his supremacy again by clinching Gold medal  at Sub Junior and Cadet State Judo Championship 2022-23 , held at Amritsar from 25th - 27th November , 2022.  Exuding confidence and consistency, the dynamic star carried forward the momentum towards victory and got selected for Sub-junior and Cadet National Judo Championship, bringing the moment of rejoicement. 
The steller sports star Sumit (XI) also proved  his skills and grabbed Bronze medal in School State Judo Tournament , organised by School Games Federation of India, held at Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana from 22nd to 26th November 2022. Young artist Aryan Gill (Xll C1)clinched third prize in 'Cartooning' Competition giving a tough competition to other 12 schools.

BVM USN SPARKLES AT SATYUG SANGEET UTSAV - 2022
BVM Sr Sec School, USN proved its mettle in Satyug Sangeet Utsav 2022. It is a matter of great pride that stellar performers of BVM participated in 15th Inter-District Music and Dance Competition held at Ishmeet Singh Institution, Ludhiana. The dynamic dancers (Akshra, Jiya, Divya , Ganika, Radhika, Suhani and Nayantara) gave a cut throat competition and  secured Third position in Group Dance  Competition in Under Junior Category by performing on a devotional track. The dazzling dancer, Arsh Spall gave a mesmerizing performance and grabbed Third position in Solo Dance Competition.
Around 350 budding performers and total 13 teams from various CBSE schools of Ludhiana, participated and rubbed their shoulders in this competition. In both Group and Solo categories the gifted  BVMites did extremely well in euphoric mood. Exhibiting their imagination, creativity and artistic skills, three budding artists Somiya Dobhal , Janvi Rawat and Karamdeep Kaur left no stone unturned to grab the first position in all three categories  (Waste Management, Sustainable Development & Energy Conservation) All of them were adorned with certificates and trophies for their astounding achievements. Fusion was one of the Mega events that aimed at providing a platform to the young students to unleash their creativity and showcase their talent in a variety of Competitions  . It’s a matter of immense elation that  bodacious Bhartiyans  Jiya Arora  (X), Aashna Chopra (X), Madhav Mittal (Vll)  & Vinayak Grover (Vll)  clinched first prize in "Tell A Tale" competition , giving a tough competition to 22 teams from well reputed schools from various states .The winners were awarded with trophy and certifi cates.Bhartiya Vidya Mandir (USN) also grabbed the trophy for magnificent participation. Prachi Madaan showcased her tremendous skill in Ludhiana district Chess in U/17 girls and grabbed gold medal out of more than 22 district teams in the tournament. A cash prize of Rs.2000 each has also been won by  participants of the gold medal winning team. Adding another feather to the glory of the school, Daman Sharma and Ansh Anand participated enthusiastically and clinched 5th position in U/17 boys in State level Chess . BVM USN BOYS CLINCH GOLD IN DISTRICT CARROM TOURNAMENT
A trail of gold medals won by Carrom champs of BVM USN  bringing laurels to the institution with their excellent performance in District Carrom Tournament, organised by SGFI. A number of students from reputed schools participated in this tournament but enthusiastic Bvmites beat  them all clinching gold medals in the following categories. 
In U/14 Devish Madaan, Shubham Kumar, Avinash Talwar, Namman Bajaj and Akash Gogla won gold medals .
In U/17  Kavish Bajaj, Kartik Somwal, Piyush Juneja, Riyansh Beri and Nitin Dangwal bagged gold medals .
In U/19 Udhayveer Singh, Vansh Maggo, Taman Kumar, Dhruv Verma and Jai Jassal grabbed gold medals. 
6 students got selected for State Level tournament. 
Principal Mrs. Ranju Mangal congratulated all the winners for their extraordinary victory and also lauded sincere endeavours of  their mentor Mrs Geeta Mishra .

BVM USN SHINES AT DISTRICT CHESS TOURNAMENT
Moment of jubilation for BVM USN as budding chess masters made a strategic win with their splendid performance in District Chess Tournament (SGFI) held at BCM Arya School, Lalton  Kalan. Total 20 teams - U/17 and 16 teams - U/19 category participated in this tournament. 
In under 17 category Atharv,  Hemant,  Vivek  &  Arpan grabbed Second Position . 
In under 19 category Bisman,  Daman,  Ansh,  Ridham bagged Third Position. 
Both Atharv Koundal and Daman Sharma got selected for State Level for their prodigious performance. 
 Principal Mrs. Ranju Mangal congratulated all the winners and their mentor Ms Rachna for this brilliant achievement and extended her best wishes for future competitions too.

BVM USN EXCELS IN DISTRICT JUDO TOURNAMENT
A day of marvellous achievements for BVM USN today as Judo sports stars showcased their inexhaustible energy and steadfastness at District Judo tournament held at Guru Nanak Stadium organised by Punjab School Department (SGFI) on 23rd & 24th September.
On 23rd September, in U/14 category enthusiastic Chetanya clinched gold and got selected for State level, Neerja grabbed silver and Hrishita as well as Khushi won bronze medal . 
In U/17 Parul grabbed  gold and got selected for State level, Manya & Maantra won silver and Lavanya bagged  bronze medal. 
On 24th September, in U/19 category Anshika bagged silver medal whereas Dhanvi, Gunsirat and Tashika received the participation certificates . Gilded moments of immense pride for BVM USN as its young and energetic sports champs made a strategic win with their excellent performance in District Carrom Tournament organised by Punjab School Department (SGFI). Total 187 students from different schools participated in this tournament. Enthusiastic Bvmites clinched gold medals in all U/14 , U/17 and U/19 category. 
In U/14 Sukriti Jain, Disha Sharma, Vidhita Jain,Mansha, Avni proved won gold medals  
In U/17 Manya, Kriti Gupta, Neha, Chahat, Jannat bagged gold medals
In U/19 Amisha, Diya Kashyap, Priyal Jain, Ridhi, Varinda grabbed gold medals and selected for state level competition .

Promising Bhartiyans Sugandha Gulati (VII) Gunsirat Kaur (VIII) & Alisha Tangri (IX)  brought laurels to the school in a virtual National Competition- 'Saksham 2021-22 organised by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas , Govt of India from 1st to 10th March , 2022 to nurture creativity and innate artistic & analytical skills amongst young budding artists and scholars. While Sugandha displayed her brilliant aesthetic skills in Painting & Gunsirat & Alisha  exhibited their analytical skills in Quiz  competition. All the three participants reserved berth amongst  top 50 students in state & also grabbed cash prize of Rs 4000 each. The competition  conceptualized awareness on the vital need of fuel conservation and environmental protection. Bodacious Bhartiyans of Udham Singh Nagar brought laurels to the school on international platform by adding one more feather to its beaming cap. '8th International Humanity Olympiad' was organised by Satyug Darshan Trust in which around Five Lakhs students from the various schools participated. It is a matter of immense elation that Amrit Sharma (VIII) grabbed the Second position and won Lava tablet in Junior Category. Leaving no stone unturned Shabad Sharma (X)  grabbed 25th rank and got ear pods for his remarkable performance in the Senior Category. Following the Government of India scheme Swachh Amrit Mahotsav, under the Joint India Fights Against Garbage scheme, the Indian Sanitation League, Municipal Corporation Ludhiana, organized a drawing competition for different categories today at Rose Garden.
It is a  matter of immense pleasure for whole family of BVM that our budding artist  Saavi Gupta ( V ) grabbed first prize in catagory 1.
She got a certificate and a planter as award for her remarkable achivement.
 Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal appreciated her artistic qualities and motivated her and all to get their skills and art utilized in creating something better for the society and our nation.

Damanpreet Kaur (VIII) and Siddak Makkar (IX) bagged Gold medals and both of them will showcase their extraordinary skills in State Level Tournament . Harshita (VIII) and Prashant (VI) grabbed Silver medals where as Dhanvi (VII) and Sahitya (VII) managed to get Bronze medals respectively. Outshine in Wrestling. 

 
A proud and elated moment for BVM (USN) was witnessed as dynamic budding  wrestlers Boys U/14, U/17 & U/19  brought glory to the school with their excellent performance at  Zonal Level Wrestling Tournament held at B.V.M (K.N) from 8th to 10th September, organised by (SGFI) School Education Board. 
Enthusiastic  participants   clinched  Five Gold Medals , Four Silver Medals & One Bronze Medal respectively. 
 In U/14 Pawan Kumar (VI), U/17 Abhinav and Akshat (X) , U/19  Saksham Thakur (XII) grabbed  Gold Medals . 
In Grico Roman wrestling in U/19 age group Manu (XI) clinched Gold Medal &  Rupesh (XII) won Silver Medal.

Mr Manjit Singh Kang (Vice Chancellor PAU) was the judge of the competition . Bodacious Bvmite made his presence felt in this cut throat competition and made his school proud . NCC stars of BVM USN tucked a golden feather in its sparkling crown by bringing laurels in Athletics in the Annual NCC Training Camp CATC - 86  held from 1st August to 8th August at GNDE COLLEGE LUDHIANA . The camp was organised by PUNJAB BOYS HEADQUARTERS LUDHIANA in which approx. 450 candidates participated. The camp provided an exposure to all the cadets with a wide range of activities by putting emphasis on physical stamina and adventurous training . 20 young and energetic Bhartiyans participated with full dedication and commitment. Shabad Sharma  (X)  bagged  Silver medal and a certificate in 100 mtr race  exhibiting his discipline and physical strength . Brilliant NCC stars of BVM (USN) added gems in its crown by winning medals in  debate , shotput , athletics etc. in the  'Annual NCC  Training Camp'  held from 27th July to 5th August at Khalsa College . Energetic BVMites bagged medals under the guidance of ANO Mrs Geeta Mishra by competing with 320 participants. Amrit Sharma ( VIII ), expressing her excellence in public speaking awareness,bagged  first position in debates . Radhika (X) and Gayatri (IX) clinched first and second position respectively in Shot Put, demonstrating their  outstanding skills in sports  . The joy of Radhika knew no bounds when she pouched second position in athletics  in addition to Shot Put Principal  Mrs . With an objective to abreast young minds with latest scientific temperament and to satisfy their inquisitiveness BVM USN organised an interactive session with an eminent ISRO SCIENTIST  Dr. Thakur Sudesh Kumar Raunija, who aquainted the students with robotics & Rocket launching. Spreading awareness regarding space activities at ISRO he reposed his high hopes in the young minds, as they can give shape to novel ideas  and become job creators instead of job seekers.  He enthusiastically quenched the students' queries and motivated them to use  general science to find solutions of routine life problems. Thanking Dr.Thakur SKR , Sh P C Goyal ji (Secretary of BVM Trust) said that children are the future of our nation and their involvement in innovative activities will lead to the accomplishment of our vision of Atamnirbhar Bharat. Bharatiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Udham Singh Nagar, brims with scientific spirit as young impeccable achievers outshine at Explorica 2022- (an online interschool science and technology exposition for sustainable development). A proud and exhilarated moment is witnessed at BVM, USN once again as enthusiastic Bhartiyans proved their mettle in  this national level competition. Around 32 schools from all over the country participated in this nation wide competition. 12 students from BVM (USN) participated in different events and it is a matter of immense elation  for every Bvmite that Sugandha Gulati (class VII) bagged second position in the event Rhyme with science showcasing her brilliant oratory skills in scientific temperament, while Saavi of class V  secured third position in Brain pop;exhibiting her excellent inborn talent. Chief guest of the event Mr Jaswinder Singh (National Awardee and President IAPT-Rc-2) congratulated and lauded the efforts of the participants . Principal  Mrs Ranju Mangal congratulated the budding scientists for this splendid performance, she also complimented the young stalwarts and conveyed her wishes saying 'sternous & creative efforts are the root for every achievement'.

Mayur Rajpal the outstanding scholar of BVM, Udham Singh Nagar , Ludhiana set the benchmark by cracking JEE MAIN 2022 with a striking score of 227/300 securing 99.64 percentile and Naveen Saini another promising  student secured 97.75 percentile as National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2022. It was a propitious moment for BVM (USN) when its young  and shining scientist Priyansh Patel (X) and his mentor Mr.Narender Singh Rawat (TGT science) were applauded for their wondrous work as ATL  team of the school , in the 8th National level exhibition cum project competition organised by Inspire Award Manak under DST (department of science and technology Delhi) held from 4th September, 2021 to 8th September,2021 Approximately 800 competitors from recognised schools from all over the nation participated zealously .  Dynamic Bvmite Priyansh Patel with his mentor Mr Rawat presented  a model SMART LIFE SAVIOUR FOR COMMUTERS  and were honoured with Participation Certificate and a T-Shirt as a token of appreciation. Three dynamic BVMites Tanishka (XII), Husaneaara (XII) and Sumit (X) earned a glorious feat & brought accolades to their alma mater by  securing berth in National level Punjab Kurash Team . Students displayed  great agility and strength during trials at Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana. 
Approximately 200 competitors participated zealously from all over Punjab state.These three gems will represent Punjab Kurash Team and will showcase their extraordinary skills at Senior National Kurash Championship that is going to be held from 24th Dec to 27 Dec, 2021 at Indoor Stadium, Bhagwati Nagar , Jammu.

BVM USN shines at TURF 2021 - PCTE
It was a splendid moment of rejoicement for BVM (USN) today as aspiring Bvmite Hardik Rawat grabbed 1st position in Sur Mantra (solo song competition) organised by PCTE group of institutes and received a cash prize of Rs.10000 in the annual inter school literary and cultural competition TURF 2021. Bodacious Bvmites Tashika Sharma and Riya Singh  (a team)  clinched second prize by receiving cash prize of    Rs. 5000  in PICTIONARY  event . The team comprising of seven dynamic students, showcased their potential in nine different events of TURF 2021 .Besides three prize winners ,four creative  Bvmites reached in the final round of the respective events in cut throat competitions and were honored with participation certificates. All the seven  glittering gems from BVM made their presence felt amongst 250 vibrant participants from 21 prestigious  schools of the district.Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal congratulated all the winners & participants for their wonderful achievements/participation and wished them good luck for their future endeavours.

It was a propitious moment for Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar as it has won The School of Innovation Trophy for maximum participation at Youth Ideathon 2021 organised by ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Professional Skills (MEPSC). Its an acknowledgement for our students who have shown the courage to lead and innovate with the students from various schools of India and managed to grab *position in the top 9 schools. Award Function Ceremony  was held at IIT Delhi on 20th November, 2021 where two mentors of the School Mr Narendra Singh Rawat (TGT) and Mr Anil Aggarwal (PGT) were facilitated with a trophy. She was honoured with cash prize of Rs.1000 , a trophy, certificate and also got the  recognition as National Topper with her earnest endeavours. A two days event PUNJAB YOUTH CONFERENCE- 2021 was held at Guru Nanak Bhawan on 21st & 22nd October.Five students from BVM USN enthusiastically participated in it. Rakshit Nautiyal, a promising student of XII Non Medical exhibited his confidence, knowledge, oratory skills and earnest endeavours,  grabbing the titled of the 'Most Diplomatic Parliamentarian'. He was honoured  with cash prize of Rs.3000/,a certificate and a trophy.He stated that the event was a wonderful learning experience which boosted up their confidence to improve their articulate and writing skills. The rigorous research work, alertness , quick replies and strength of arguments will definitely help them in their general life too. Around 250-300 students participated in the event from various schools and universities in and around Ludhiana.Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal congratulated him on this striking achievement.

Second Online National Yoga Competition-2021 was organized by Punjab Yoga Committee and Everest Yoga Institute which was open to students in the age group of 16 to 20 years.Teams from different states of India participated in this competition. Shivam Sharma, BVMite of class XI , Udham Singh Nagar, took part in this competition by earning his place in the Punjab  team and brought laurels to the school by grabbing Bronze Medal individually and  to the state by winning Gold medal in this competition, thus making the state proud too. Resplendent scholar , IshamdeepKaur of  Bhartiya Vidya Mandir (USN) studded another jewel in Bvm's crown of honor by winning third position in LSSC ENGLISH POETRY RECITATION COMPETITION 2021.  41 notable schools of Ludhiana participated virtually in this competition and Ishamdeep Kaur of grade IV , who participated in category B, (for grade  IV and V )gave an intense competition to all and stood third with her majestic recitation full of emotions.Though the competition was held on virtual platform, but it couldn't deter the spirit, enthusiasm and excellence of the girl. Showcasing immaculate integrity and commitment for good health, the young yoga virtuoso performed certain prominent yogasanas giving the message to boost immunity through yoga to fight back all ailments.

The budding innovator Priyansh Patel (classX) got recognition for his model 'Smart life saviour for commuters' which was selected for the national level. Priyansh along with his mentor Mr Narendra Singh Rawat (TGT Science) in an exclusive interview ' Meet the Guru and Shishya'  elaborated how the tremendous task of inventing the model was accomplished with the motive to save  precious lives. To motivate and galvanize the youngsters both further added that there is no shortcut to success, it is only diligence and right orientation that one reaches the zenith of success. In collaboration with  ATL labs Niti Aayog, National All Rounder Championship was organised by KidEx during the month of December and January. Wherein 30 various activities were conducted under five different themes. It is matter of elation and pride that astounding tiny toddlers of BVM (USN ) showcased their charismatic performance and brought laurels to the institution at the state and city level.
Talented Sanchit, Manya & Manvi secured first, second and third position respectively in Ludhiana city in 5 year old category with their dazzling performance in the theme Language and Communication . Proficient Sanchit and Manvi affixed rank 1 & 3 respectively in cognitive skills at state-level taking the school name to new zenith.
Congratulating the tiny tots on their incredible achievement, Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal lauded the ATL  team and the winners for fringing notable accolades for school.

Bvmite Shivam has glorified BVM at international platform

An array of online yoga competitions was organised by Five Star Welfare and Sports Club (Regs.Govt. of India) .It is a matter of  immense  pride that the enthusiastic  Bvmite Shivam Sharma( BVM USN) proved his mettle in each competition.Online Asian Yoga championship  was organised in September 2020 and he grabbed the  first position in individual  yoga Asana u-20 boys.World  Yoga Cup ,U-21boys (individual )was  conducted in December 2020 and he acquired first position. Online World Yoga Championship was held from from 25th December to 1st january,2020.Total 350 participants including 12 foreigners participated in it and zealous  Bvmite Shivam Sharma clinched first position in this Championship with his earnest endeavours, winning the international  recognition.He has been awarded with a certificate of merit and a  tracksuit . Principal , Mrs Ranju Mangal said that the milestones achieved by Shivam has glorified BVM at international platform . She lauded the persistant efforts of the Physical Education Department for enhancing the yog talent of the Bvmites.She also extended her best wishes to Shivam for  his future goals.

Total 41 teachers are selected from 34 States throughout India.  She bagged the coveted title due to her persistent efforts to groom the young innovators . The ATL of the school is one of the top performing labs in India. It is being adjudged as the ATL OF MONTH consecutively for the past 14 months.

It's a matter of pride and delight as Suraj Kumar of BVM (USN) has been selected among the top 24 innovators across India and is a part of Indian Delegation 'Digital Financial Assets for 21st Century' being held from Nov. 7 to Nov. 21, 2020. He is learning design thinking skills, web development, cryptography, crypto-currency, computer languages and its translation etc. from world's best experts.
Exhibiting his innate talent BVM (USN) ATL tinkerer got nominated and short listed for the ATL SIRIUS INNOVATION PROGRAM 3.0 (Indo- Russia program). The journey began by securing position among top 150 entries in ATL Marathon- 2019, followed by an application for the above coveted program. The ATL team members, Co-ordinator Seema Gupta & Suraj Kumar and Sonu Kumar two students of class-X forwarded their motives and expertise in the field of innovation through an essay in 500-600 words individually and the team was shortlisted for grabbing the maximum nominations for a school in India.

Steering the innovative spirit , Bhartiyans of BVM Udham Singh Nagar were among the top 30 teams of ATL MARATHON 2019-20 and experienced a wonderful involvement in a first-hand learning experience in 'ATL Student Internship Program' powered by Atal Innovation Mission and IBM' from 5th September 2020 to 19th September 2020.Budding scientists Suraj Kumar, Sonu ( X ) & Priyansh Patel (IX) enthusiastically participated to give wings to their Innovative thinking along with their mentor Mrs Seema Gupta.They were selected on the basis of their empathetic approach towards society and their innovative ideas to harvest water. The young innovators learnt and experienced to shape unique ideas .

They gave the solution for water management and sustenance.

The young innovators of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir(USN) Suraj, Priyansh, Gokul &Tarak* have made a remarkable victory at  the National level at Manipal University Jaipur in the  'National Hackathon 2019' by winning the second position* .They competed with the B.Tech students from all over India, They made 'Smart Sewage Shooter Robot' under the category of 'Healthcare' . They received rupees 75000/- as prize money.They will be honoured and felicitated by the honourable Chief Minister of Rajasthan Mr Ashok Gahlot  along with other ministers, Vice Chancellor of Manipal University and galaxy of scientists from various universities.

Bhartiyans showcased their agility and true sportsmanship in various sports events and astounded one and all through their commendable performance. Arjun Singh Diwakar participated in triple jump & grabbed bronze medal, Vinod Kumar (IX) clinched bronze medal in 1500 m race. Amit Sharma (XII) and Mohit Singh Rawat (XII) Arjun Singh & Vinod Kumar won bronze medal in 400m relay race.

Aatica (BVM, USN) grabs 3rd Prize in LSSC Drawing and Colouring Competition
Painting and Art competitions give an opportunity to the students to colour their imagination and lend aesthetic touch to their dreams. young artist of BVM(USN)  Aatica (class II) brought distinction to the school by grabbing third position in LSSC Drawing and Colouring Competition held on 20th November ,2019 at MGM Public School Ludhiana .Total 19 teams from renowned schools of Ludhiana participated in this competition .There were two categories   A and B .In category A (l & ll) there were three topics Fun Show, Underwater Scene, Rainbow Scene. In category B (III to V) topics were Digital India, Park Scene & Conservation of Water Resources. Aatica who participated in category A bagged third prize.
Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi greeted the winner and applauded the Arts Department for strengthening the wings of their aesthetic skills.

BVM (USN) grabs Bronze in Judo at State Level
Judo is an important sport as it develops the prowess self defence, discipline and self-control. A vigorous Bhartiyan of BVM (USN) 'Harleen Kaur' (XII com.) brought laurels to the school by clinching Bronze medal (+78kg category) in state level judo tournament under ‘Tandrust Punjab’ organised by Punjab Government on 16th November, 2019 at Mansa. Total 14 teams from all over Punjab participated in this championship .The winner was honoured in the morning assembly by the Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi. She congratulated the achiever and her coach Ms. Deepika. She lauded sincere endeavours of the whole Physical Education department and wished them good luck for more achievements.

Bhartiyans clinch 2nd prize in the Bharat Ko Jano Quize Contest
Bharat ko Jano is a quiz progrmme for the school students to enhance their awareness about the distinctive features of their motherland and culture. Promising Bhartiyans of BVM, USN, Kavish Bajaj and Aastha Grover (class 7th, Junior Team) won accolades for the school by clinching second prize in this District level Quiz Contest 'Bharat ko Jano' organised by 'Bharat Vikas Parishad' at 'Viklang Kendra, Ludhiana' on 11th November, 2019.The winners were honoured with a trophy, medals and certificates.Total six teams from  renowned schools of Ludhiana participated in the competition. Each school sent two teams (Junior & Senior Category) Members of the BVM Trust extended their best wishes to the achievers. Principal Mrs Bandana Sethi greeted the winners and exhorted all the students to stay connected to their rich heritage of Bhartiyan Sanskriti. She also motivated other students to participate enthusiastically in such competitions.

Self belief and our positive actions result in outstanding success. Propitious Bvmite Ansh Anand (8th-B) of BVM Udham Singh Nagar added to the grandeur of the school, being lionized in National Trials organised by SGFI at Barnala on 31st October, 2019 and he got selected for National Chess Championship in U-14 age group (boys section).Total 10 players from all over Punjab participated in these trials and it is an honour for every Bvmite as this chess grand master will represent Punjab State  in National Chess Championship to be held at Silvasa (Dadar Nagar Haveli Union Territory) from 6th November  to 10th November 2019.BVM Trust members extended their good wishes to the champ .Principal Mrs Bandana Sethi congratulated the  achiever and his coach Mr. Baljit Singh Gill on this mammoth achievement and wished good luck for the National Chess Championship

BVM (USN) Chess Grandmasters Pave Way To The National Level
Exhilarated chess grandmasters of BVM (USN) Deepti sharma (10thB), Ansh Anand (8th) & Daman Sharma (8th) represented Ludhiana District in Punjab State Chess Championship held at Barnala from 17th Oct to 22nd Oct, 2019 organized by SGFI and exhibited a fervid performance. Deepti Sharma won all the 8 matches. Scoring 8/8 points she grabbed gold medal, Ansh Anand & Daman Sharma clinched bronze medals in the Girls and Boys State Chess Championship respectively. Ansh Anand & Deepti Sharma got selected for the National Level Trials and added to the glory of the school. The winners were honoured in the morning assembly.
BVM trust members blessed all the achievers. Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi congratulated the winners on their phenomenal success and wished them good luck for the National Level Trials. She also acknowledged the sincere endeavors of the Head of the Physical Education Department Mr. Baljeet Singh Gill.

Chess grandmasters of BVM USN , DAMAN SHARMA and ANSH ANAND won Bronze Medal in Punjab State Chess Championship held at Barnala from 17th October to 19th 2019 organised by SGFI Punjab State Chess CHampionship in U/14 Boys category . Out five members team representing Ludhiana District two members were from BVM USN.

Ostentatious achievement of young, ebullient Carrom players of BVM (USN) is commendable as they qualify for the state level with their whooping victory in the District Carrom Championship organised by SGFI held at BVM (KN) from 3rd October, 2019 to 5th October, 2019. 30 Dynamic BVMites participated in the championship and showcased a splendid performance by winning 20 gold medals and 10 silver medals in U/14, U/17 & U/19 (boys and girls) Championship. 13 determined BVmites Himanshu, Udayveer Singh (U/14 boys), Vipan, Kartik Singh (U/17 boys) Mahesh, Antrik (U/19 boys) Diya, Ridhi, Mansi (U/14 girls), Sanjana, Mamta (U/17 girls) Radhika, Rashi (U/19 girls) added to the grandeur of the school as they will represent the school at the state level championship.

Another magnificent achievement is made by the promising Bhartiyans, Chinmmay Sood (VI) & Ishant Batra (IX) by showing brilliant performance in DSSL (Discovery School Super League) 2019 organised by Byju’s held at BVM USN in July 2019 qualifying for the category 2 and they will represent the school at state level. This contest provides a unique platform to the students where they are adjuged on the parameters of their critical thinking and aptitude. Mehak Verma, Gurjinder, Chinmaya Sood, Parth, Drishti and Ishant Batra are declared as class toppers in category 1 of the contest and and have won Byju's Goodie bag for their marvelous presentation.

Winning the top positions, determined Carrom players of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Udham Singh Nagar, proved their dexterity in Inter School District Carrom Championship held at BVM, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana from 3rd October to 5th October 2019, organised by District Education Department. Tenacious players of under 14 (Boys & Girls) and under 17 (Boys & Girls) teams from Udham Singh Nagar grabbed the honour of being on the top by clinching first position, while under 19 (Boys and Girls) secured second position in this championship. Trust members and Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi congratulated the winners and the sports department on their thunderous victory and motivated the students to participate in such events with greater enthusiasm and bring glory to the school with their relentless efforts.

Aspired BVMites of Udham Singh Nagar proved to be victorious in-Yoga, Badminton and Chess tournaments. Primary sports events of Mangat- 1 block organised by District Sports Department, held at PAU Senior Secondary School on 27th and 28th September. Accolades won by young champs in Yoga, Badminton & Chess are as follows:
Yoga U/11 Boys clinched first position. The team comprised of Tejas, Gaurav, Kismat, Kuldeep, Pranav and Ansh participated enthusiastically and exhibited their potential and got selected for zonal level. Girls team grabbed second position. Vanshika, Geet and Avneet got selected for the zonal level.
Badminton U/11 boys team secured first position. Rajveer, Dhruv and Krishna got selected for the zonal level.
Chess U/11 boys and girls won second position. Ishant, Aryan, Prachi, Amrit, Subhashri, and Riya got selected for the zonal level.
Sh. M.M. Bamba Ji (President) , Sh. K.C. Maini Ji (Manager) and Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi congratulated the winners and felt proud of the fact that the budding sports stars are able to carve a niche for themselves with toil and persistent efforts under the able guidance of Physical Education department.

B.V.MUdham Singh Nagar Chess grandmasters Daman Sharma & Ansh Anand (VIII) brought laurels to the school as they got selected for the State Level in the District Level  Chess Championship. Determined chess masters of Under 14 age group (Boys) Daman Sharma, Ansh Anand, Bisman Singh, Ridham Jain, Hitesh Sharma (class VIII) exhibited their exceptional game skills by securing 2nd position (Silver Medal) in Ludhiana District Chess Championship held at Sri Guru Hargobind Public school, pakhowal road on 26th and 27th September organized by District Education Department. Young champions gave a tough competition to the 24 teams from different schools of Ludhiana.

A remarkable achievement was made by U-17 Girls Chess team that grabbed Second Position in Interschool District Chess Championship, held at Guru Hargobind Senior Secondary School, Pakhowal Road on 24th and 25th September 2019. Earnest Chess Stars Deepti Sharma, Siya Sharma, Shivani (Class X), Kriti Dawar, Niharika (Class XI), participated committedly in this tournament and Deepti Sharma got selected for the State Level Championship. Total 16 teams from various prestigious institutions participated in this tournament showcasing their potential.

Acclaiming commendable top position in Ludhiana district handball players of BVM USN grabbed gold medals in the District Handball Tournament organised by District Education Department at Government School PAU Ludhiana on 20-09-2019 & 21-09-2019.
 
Total 10 teams from different zones of Ludhiana participated in the tournament, propitious BVMites of U/14 team Amneet, Saksham, Abhishek and U/19 team Amrit Sharma, Arjun, Akshay, Mohit Singh displayed marvelous game skills and clinched gold medal in the competition.
 
The Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi approbated the glorious achievement of the winners and wished them good luck for a dazzling future ahead. She also lauded the persistent efforts of the Physical Education Department.

The sports throbs of BVM Udham Singh Nagar, Ludhiana, proved their mettle in District Yoga Championship organized by District Education Department from 18th September to 20th Sept 2019 at BVM Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana. U -17 Boys team clinched first position & U-14 Boys team grabbed second position in this tournament. Total 25 teams from reputed schools participated enthusiastically in this tough competition. The BVM champions of U-17 Boys team: Om Kanwar, Sayyam Thakur, Shivam, Kunal Khapran and Lovish (Class 9th) & U-14 Boys team: Karan, Shravan (Class 8th), Monu, Laksh & Daksh (Class 7th) displayed their subtle yog skills efficiently. All the champions of U-17 Boys & Monu, Karan, Daksh (Boys), Kavya (Girl) got selected for the State Level Tournament.

BVM USN students to meet Nobel laureate
Atal tinkering lab at BVM, USN has turned into a hub of innovators. Young neoteric minds under the mentorship of ATL team with co-ordinators   Mr. Narendra Singh Rawat and Mrs. Seema Gupta channelize their energy into useful projects there by leading to the formation of wonderful projects. They are turning simple basic scientific principles into reality and changing wastes into useful products. Be it Go Green, conservation of biodiversity, save water to quantum physics, nothing is left untouched. Many projects are in pipeline with Mrs. Rajni, Mrs. Kiran Bala and Mrs. Sunita Khera. The simple project which caught fancy of everyone is solar energy concentrator which has been made from junk dish antenna and is being used to heat up the food in the lunch boxes of the students. The ATL team has proved their mettle at National level events. The project led by Mr. Anil Aggarwal won laurels and the ATL team has been invited to showcase their talent and have an interaction with Nobel laureate Shri Kailash Satyarthi on 13 September 2019 at Delhi.  
Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi also the leader and the key motivator congratulated the entire group of science teachers and students.  Members of BVM Trust also appreciated the efforts being put in and blessed the students for the bright future.

The talented chess players of BVM (USN) excelled in sub-junior district chess championship, organized by Ludhiana District Chess Association at Shri Ram Universal School, Sarabha Nagar on 13th and 14th July, 2019. Pratham Kohli of class IX won accolades for the school by clinching II position in Under-15 category. Chess Champions of BVM also displayed their mental alertness and intelligence in another Chess Championship conducted by ‘Kumon Chess Academy” on 13th June, 2019. Shivansh (Under -11) and Shivani (Under-15) grabbed I and III prize respectively.
Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi congratulated the winners and their coach Mr. Baljeet Singh Gill for their hard work and arduous efforts. In U/11 talented Klodia Saxena (Class VII) grabbed Ist Position, Pratham Kohli clinched 2nd prize in U/15 and promising Bisman Singh (class IX) bagged first consolation prize in U/13 age group.

Students Excel At Tech-Creation Bootcamp
The young tinkerers Priyansh Patel & Strishti Gupta of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Udham Singh Nagar fluttered their tinkering caps high and widened their innovation horizon. They secured their entry to         Ideate for India- Creative solutions using technology: Regional Tech Creation Bootcamp-North as their ideas got selected among top 10 ideas from Punjab State out of 1.3lakh entries pan India.
The bootcamp was held in Delhi from 7th May, 2019 to 10th May, 2019. The students along with ATL Coordinator Mrs. Seema Gupta enjoyed innovation journey in the exciting learning space involving problem solving, out of the box thinking, ideating, brainstorming, designing, 3-D printing and prototype making using IOT, microprocessors & microcontrollers. All the ideas were honored with Intel Galileo 2.0 Microprocessors for tinkering. Mr. M.S. Rao, President & CEO of National E-Governance Division and Mrs. Shweta Khurana, Director Corporate Affairs Intel India distributed the certificates.
Mrs. Bandana Sethi, Principal applauded the efforts of ATL Team of teachers and students and advised to take the momentum of innovation further and thanked the Management for providing all the necessary requirements and scientific space for the students.

Bhartiyans (USN) Outshine In XII C.B.S.E. Boards (2018-19)
The whole B.V.M. (USN) premises dazzled with sparkling smiles and overwhelming excitement as the result of class XII C.B.S.E. was declared today afternoon.  Maintaining its tradition of setting new mile stones Bhartiyans presented an outstanding 100% result. The students crowded the school premises with sweets and shiny faces. 
Astute Mehak in Medical stream topped the list by scoring 95.4% followed by Saloni Jaswal scoring 93.6% and Anmol 90.24%. 
Brilliant Nidhi in Non Medical Stream grabbed 1st position by scoring 92.6% followed by Nakul 91.6% and Lavish 91.2%.
In Commerce Stream promising Muskan Maini, Sunidhi and Mukul scored 93.8% and topped the list followed by Radhika with 93.4% and Shivani with 92.8%.
Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi congratulated the students for proving their mettle and highly applauded the relentless efforts of teachers and blessed the students for their bright future. Honorable members of the BVM Trust Sh. P. C. Goyal Ji (Secretary), Sh. Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Shaheed Udham Singh Nagar made Ludhiana proud by showing their innovative, creative and out of the box thinking skills in the competition ‘Ideate for India- Creative Solutions Using Technology- a National Challenge ‘by National e-governance division, ministry of electronics and Information Technology, Government of India & Intel India.
Two BVMites Srishti Gupta (Class XII) and Priyansh Patel (Class VIII) secured place among top 10 students selected from Punjab State among more than 1.3 Lakhs Ideas. They secured their participation in ‘Regional Tech- Creation Bootcamp’ to be held in Delhi from May 07, 2019 to May 10, 2019.
Srishti and Priyansh presented the new and unique neoteric ideas under the guidance of ATL Coordinators Mrs. Seema Gupta, Mr. Narendra Singh Rawat and Team of Science Teachers. They developed ‘Smart Silo’ and Sensible Parking with Sensors’. Scientific aptitude, undying spirits and constant motivation of Mrs. Bandana Sethi , Principal remains the guiding force.

Bhartiyans selected for International Level Sqay Martial Arts Championship
Sports stars of BVM (USN) added another quill   in its crown by bagging first position in National Sqay Martial Arts Championship organised by SGFI. Students from different renowned schools from all over India participated in this championship. Basu Sharma (class X) and Khushi Chauhan (class IX) grabbed 1st position in the Championship in under 17 category held at PAU School Ludhiana held from 6th  April 2019 to 12th  April 2019 and became eligible for the next international trial. Nikhil Vij (class X) participated in the National Sqay Martial Arts Championship held at Delhi from 2nd January, 2019 to 9th  January 2019 .Sh. P.C. Goyal Ji (Secretary BVM Trust) and the worthy members of the BVM Trust congratulated the winners for their outstanding performance. Principal Mrs Bandana Sethi honoured the winners in the morning assembly and applauded the relentless efforts of physical education department. Adding another feather to its golden cap in the Golden Jubilee year, Milanpreet Singh of IX represented INDIA in Invitation Tournament of Handball championship in U-17 age group held at Ukraine Europe from 26th Jan to 31st Jan, 2019. It was organized by Ukraine Handball Federation.
To acknowledge this outstanding achievement of Millanpreet, a Welcome function was organized by parents and the citizens of Mandeep Nagar. Mayor Balkar Singh Sidhu and the Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi was the Chief Guest of the occasion who honoured Milanpreet for his achievement. 

The entire Physical Education Department and the teachers also grace the occasion and congratulated the boy. Members of BVM Trust applauded the boy for his stupendous achievement and congratulated the entire sports department especially to the Game Coach Mr. Sukhwinder Singh for encouraging the students to take part in sports and wished good luck to continue with the same.

    Four champs of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar displayed their Squay Martial Arts I 59th National School Games (2013-14) organized by SGFI in Delhi from 1st Jan to 8th Jan,2014. The BVMites brought glory to the school’s name by winning accolades. Vaibhav and Gaurav (Under – 14) participated in open and 41Kg (weight category) respectively and bagged a silver each. Meghna (Under -17) and Manraj (Under – 19) followed the same saga and won a bronze each in the open category.  Sh. K.C. Maini(Secretary, BVM Trust), Sh. O.P.Sabharwal (Manager, BVM USN), Sh. Mangat Thakur (E.O) and  The Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi applauded and appreciated the incessant efforts put in by the students as well as the sports teachers Mr. Baljeet Gill and Mrs. Wadhera. All the faces shone amid the crescendo of cheers and claps.

     
    BVM’S  teacher honoured for her selfless service
     
    CBSE celebrated National Education Day on 11th  of November to mark the Birthday of 1st Education Minister of Independent India  Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. Entries from all over India were invited for the same and out of 8 zones, 16 teachers were selected for their exemplary and torch bearing contribution in spreading education among the masses especially the under privileged and making a positive difference in their lives. A dedicated and devoted teacher of B.V.M (USN), Mrs. Rajni Arora was  one out of ‘the two selected teachers from Panchkula region. In the second round these selected teachers had to present their work in the form of Power Point Presentation or some documentary. Mrs. Rajni along with her student Nav Rattan presented a very motivating and inspiring documentary depicting their incessant efforts. They both were awarded Rs. 10,000/- along with certificate of honour for their selfless service towards mankind.

    Golden Victory for BVM (USN)
     
    The whole B.V.M (USN) campus was brimming with victorious smiles and thunder of joys when NCC cadets brought school the laurels by winning eleven gold and one silver medal at Annual Training Camp of No.4 Pb Air Sqn NCC which was held at Dhanansu from 1st Nov. to 9th Nov under the Wing Commander S.S.Kaila. More than 650 students from different schools and colleges of Ludhiana District participated in Annual Training Camp. 10 students from BVM (USN) participated in the camp. One of our student Priyanka (+2 Com A4), declared as the best cadet among senior wing and added four gold medals in BVM’s cap. Priyanka’s victorious solo dance performance left everyone enthralled and won her a gold. Shivali Singla (+1 Com A1) got gold medals in shooting as well as in football, Jyoti (+1 Com A4) also won a gold in football and a gift hamper for participating in Static Aeromodelling. Karan Arora (+2 Sci A2) got a gold in Volleyball while Ankit Sharma (+2 Sci A3) bagged a gold in cricket. Shivali Verma (+2 Com A4) and Priyanka (+2 Com A4) bagged gold medals in 2km Marathon and football. The Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi and Mr. O.P. Sabharwal Ji, Manager BVM (USN) appreciated and applauded the efforts put in by the students.   

    YOUNG ARTISTS OF BVM, USN SHOWCASED CREATIVITY
     
    Art Competition was organized by S.K.Bikes in which about 750 students from classes I to VIII participated enthusiastically. Two participants Sapna of II B and Janik Raju of VIII A exhibited their artistic excellence and won bicycles. A gift hamper and free gift coupon of Rs. 750/- each were awarded to 9 students for their excellent performance. 30 students were honoured with certificates. Mr. Subhash Lakkra appreciated the participants for their stupendous performance and for exploring their creativity. The school was honoured for the maximum and exuberant performance. Members of the Managing Committee- Sh. O.P.Sbharwal ji, Sh. K.C.Maini ji, Sh. M.M.Bamba ji and the Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi thanked S.K.Bikes for organizing such competitions and giving an opportunity to the budding artists.

    BVM (USN) BAGGED FIRST PRIZE AT INSPIRE CAMP-2013
    It was a red letter day for young Bhartiyans of U.S.N. In the model making competition at ‘Inspire Camp,2013’ held by Department of Science and Technology at ISF College of Pharmacy, Moga. Two models –‘Borewell Rescue Device’ and ‘Transportation and Communication’ were displayed, out of which the former prepared by Shubham Kareer, Sahil Soni and Sahil Kashyap under the able guidance of Mrs. Kavita Sharma and Mr. Narinder Singh Rawat was adjudjed the best one bagging the first prize of Rs. 21,000/-. Students were honoured by Prof. SS.Gill, Vice Chancellor, Baba Farid University, Mr. Praveen Bansal, Joint Director, Baba Farid University and Mr. Aarti Deshmukh, CEO- Lab Ultima
    All the winners were highly appreciated by the Manager), Sh. O.P. Sabharwal Ji and the benevolent member of BVM Trust, Sh. M.M. Bamba ji. The Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi ji congratulated the winners and the teachers and motivated others for their participation in the upcoming competition.

    Bhartiyan Quill shines at State Level

     
    Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar’s Jasmeet Kaur (IX-A), the girl with the golden pen, won accolades for the institution by bagging the first prize in the state level essay writing competition on the topic ‘Jal Hi Jeevan Hai’ organized by  Shri Prakash Kaushalya Devi Memorial Trust on Aug13,2013. Out of the two categories of 106 participants, Jasmeet’s essay was adjudged the best. Shri Avinash Rai Khanna(Member Rajya Sabha) and Shri Des Raj Sharma(Principal, S.D. Sarvahitkari Vidya Mandir, Talwara) honoured the budding writer with a cash prize of Rs 1500, a certificate and a memorable poetic inscription. The members of B.V.M. Trust, Shri M.M.Vyas ji (secretry), Shri Phool Chand ji (Vice President) and Ms. Harmeet Kaur (Princpal, Nankana Public School) graced the occasion with their presence and felicitated the winner with their whole-hearted appreciation. It was a matter of pride and honour for the girl’s parents, Shri Sarabjeet Singh and Smt Harpreet Kaur, when the blessings were showered on their daughter. Vote of thanks was proposed by the school principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi. Sh. Avinash Rai Khanna Ji gave the slogan “Everyone everyday save one liter of water” in his speech.
