To create awareness and sensitize the students regarding the need to grow more trees, Van Mahotsav Week (3rd to 7th July 2023) was observed at BVM USN. A gamut of activities was organised to incite awareness and instill a personal connect between students and nature. In an attempt to give a green touch, saplings were gifted to the birthday students to plant and nurture them. In the morning assembly, Bvmites vowed to grow more plant and conserve trees in their small possible ways. Parineeti (V) through her verse, threw light on the importance and need to preserve trees, natural resources, flora and fauna.
Chahat (XII) talked about man's responsibility in safeguarding Mother Nature. A group song 'Aao hum sankalp karein' by the music choir enthralled one and all.
Green warriors of class VII passionately participated in the Plantation Drive. Students of class VI to VIII came up with some thought provoking slogans in an Inter- house Poster making competition . An inter- class quiz flared up the ecological sense of the students of class V. The Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal in her address said, “Nature is the mother that nurtures and provides for all our needs. It is the matrix in which we survive, live and grow. If we take care of nature , then nature will also take care of us in return”.
