BVM Udham Singh Nagar celebrated 77th Independence Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. All four sections of class VII presented various items. The celebrations of the auspicious day commenced with Flag Hoisting Ceremony. All students took ' Panch Praan Pledge' . It was followed by March past and Plantation drive by NCC Cadets. A speech made by Kashvi Malhotra and the mime showcasing the unity of the country mesmerized all. Lavanya recited a Hindi poem expressing her views on independence. A play projecting the freedom struggle of the freedom fighters was heartouching . Young Children paid tribute to veer jawans through a group dance performance. Patriotic song aroused the feeling of nationalism in all the present. Extending her greetings on the auspicious occasion, Principal Mrs. Ranju Mangal stated that the real meaning of independence is to set the mind free from all vices.
