Saluting the nation and the spirit of great freedom fighters on the eve of its 77th Independence Day, the management and faculty members of BVM (USN) celebrated the day with all its grandeur and fervor. The school wore a festive look with the tricolor display everywhere. The celebrations commenced with the lightning of the ceremonial lamp seeking the blessings of Maa Saraswati. Maintaining the sovereignty and integrity of our motherland, venerate Sh K C Maini ji (President BVM Trust) Sh. PC Goyal ji ( Secretary BVM Trust) accompanied by the school Principal and Vice Principals hoisted the National Flag and all sang the melodious strains of National Anthem in unison. It was followed by the pious oath ceremony, when all the members of BVM family pledged to perform their duties sincerely. It was followed by a speech by Mrs. Pallavi Sharma (TGT English). She emphasized that being nation builders, it’s the responsibility of educators to sensitize the youth with life lessons of our rich culture, values and tradition and to build a strong national character with endless love for their native land and its people. The musical choir of teachers expressed joy of freedom and filled everyone with pure patriotism through a mesmerizing song ‘ Sone jaisi maati jiski ...' Speaking on this pious occasion Sh. P.C. Goyal ji, reminded all of the sacrifices made by our great heroic martyrs and leaders and urged everyone to be inspired to serve the motherland with heart, body and soul. He congratulated the Bhartiyans saying that as Indians, our obligation towards the beloved motherland is to work whole-heartedly for the holistic growth of its future generations. Celebrating the day of love and respect for our nation, he also advocated to promote humanitarian approach among future generations. The celebration culminated with Vande Matram.
