Recognising the vital role of the schools in spreading the Swachhta awareness, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar observed the Swachhta Pakhwada from September 1st to 15th, 2023.
Keeping this mission in mind, during the fortnight celebration of the Swachhta Pakhwada, the BVMITES were engaged in different activities of the cleanliness drive started by our honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Swachhata Shapath (Pledge) was taken on the very first day of the pakhwada by all the students of the school, the Principal, Vice- Principals and the Staff. Various activities like Poster making , Slogan writing were conducted and the students realised the importance of 'Cleanliness and Sanitation'.
Teachers enlightened the students about the significance of cleanliness and hygiene at personal & social levels . A special lecture on 'Awareness' was arranged for teachers also.
All these activities conducted by the school enabled it to take mission of cleanliness to the community, thereby creating mass awareness. Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal said that awareness of Sanitation and Cleanliness is utmost important for the health and well-being of everyone in the society, hence required steps must be taken strictly to realise the 'Swachhta mission' initiatied by the Prime Minister.
