Lohri the festival of Punjabi culture was celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm at BVM (USN). The harvest festival of Punjab was celebrated with much jauntiness and fanfare. Bvmites showcased their talent through various activities. The jovial children of class III to VIII put their artistic acumen on display through virtual platform with dazzling designs in Poster making, kite making, crafts with groundnut shells and 3d Lohri bonfire craft . Students of class VIII had a gala time with family, singing melodious festival songs (Boliyan) which were shared in the class groups. Soaking in the spirit of festivity, Sanjana of class VII recited a melodious poem and Iknoor of class VIII delved on the importance and reasons behind celebrating this festival which ushers in the cheerful spring season, bidding adieu to dull winter. Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal conveyed best wishes to the entire BVM family and exhorted the students to keep their tradition and rich culture alive by celebrating the festival in true spirit.
