A Week-long Celebration of Mother Earth Day at BVM USN
The students of BVM USN enthusiastically participated in various activities to commemorate our benevolent Mother Earth. On the occasion of Earth Day, an array of creative activities was organized to sensitize the children about the conservation of natural resources and motivate them to contribute towards making our planet even more beautiful.During the third day of celebrations, the school organized ' Waste-less Wednesday' with the aim of spreading awareness about minimizing the use of aluminum foil, packaging materials, and unnecessary paper consumption. Anshuman, a fifth-grade student, presented an inspiring poem highlighting the detrimental effects of plastic usage.The young learners of Shishu Vatika engaged in various activities such as artistic hand impression projects, crown making, poem recitations, fancy dress competitions, and a rally advocating 'say no to plastic.' These ongoing events reignited emotional concerns and encouraged the youth to actively participate in preserving, loving, and respecting Mother Nature.
Principal , Mrs . Seema Gupta conveyed a message urging students to safeguard the interests of Mother Earth by actively engaging in efforts to make our planet a better place to live in.
