To incite awareness and instill a personal connect between students and nature BVM USN celebrated Van Mahotsav Week from 1st to 7th July as a part of ‘Go Green’ initiative of the school. Vitalizing the utter need of green drive, active agents of environment protection, the committed Bvmites pledged to preserve environment. To spread the fragrance of love and concern towards nature, young ecologists (VI) planted saplings.To promote awareness class VII students made colourful posters on 'Say No To Plastic', Ridhima (IV) recited a poem dedicated to mother nature. Active agents of environment participated enthusiastically in Role Play activity - 'Plant tree today for Better tomorrow', followed by Inter-Section (IX) Declamation on the theme 'Go Green'. Nayantara (IX) inspired all to grow more trees through her speech. Tiny tots of Shishu Vatika made animals, plants, toys with clay; drew Van mahotsav scene, watered the plants and recited poems on 'Conserving Nature'.
Principal, Mrs Seema Gupta encouraged students to preserve trees which play a vital role in maintaining the ecological balance. She added that it is the responsibility of each citizen to not only grow but also take care of the same.
