Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Udham Singh Nagar, celebrated World Tourism Day which falls on September 27, embracing the theme "Tourism and Peace." The event underscored the significant role tourism plays in fostering development and promoting peace across the globe. Ms. Medhavi (TGT Social Science) spoke about the importance of the day, emphasizing how tourism influences social, cultural, political, and economic values worldwide. Celebration included various activities to engage students, like collage creation (Class VI), Virtual tours ( Shishu Vatika), Slogan writing (Class VIII), and Poster making (Class IX). Principal Mrs Seema Gupta highlighted that tourism is not only a source of economic growth but also a means to build relationships, appreciate diverse cultures and promote environmentally sustainable practices.
