BVM USN Observes Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign and Birth Anniversaries of
Gandhi Ji & Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji
BVMUSN organized the Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 campaign from September 17 to October 1, as a part of India’s ongoing efforts to promote cleanliness and hygiene across the country. Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Swachh Bharat Mission, the campaign aimed to foster cleanliness and instill civic responsibility among students. It began with the Swachhata Shapath, where students pledged to keep their school and surroundings clean.
BVMites participated in various activities, including a Cleanliness Drive (V), a Human Chain Event (III to V), Slogan Writing (VII), and a Selfie Point display. Amrit (X) delivered a speech on the birth anniversaries of two great leaders, Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, raising awareness of their values and principles among fellow students.
Teachers also enlightened the students about the importance of cleanliness and hygiene on both personal and societal levels, while highlighting the invaluable contributions of Gandhi Ji and Shastri Ji to India's freedom struggle. Principal, Mrs.Seema Gupta commended the students for their active participation in the cleanliness and sanitation drive, emphasizing that awareness of sanitation and cleanliness is crucial for the health and well-being of society.
