Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Udham Singh Nagar, Ludhiana, held its much-anticipated Annual Cultural cum Prize Distribution Function 2024 Srijan, on October 23, 2024. The grand event was graced by the esteemed presence of Sh Raj K Choudhary, Assistant Commissioner, MC, Ludhiana, as the Chief Guest, along with Dr. Himanshu Giya, an alumnus of the school, who attended as the Guest of Honour . The benign presence & unwavering support of the esteemed members of the BVM Trust Sh. Manoj Gupta ji (President), Sh. R K Behal ji (Vice President), Sh. Parkash Chand Goyal ji (Secretary), Sh. The evening commenced with the ceremonial Deep Prajwalan and Prayer, invoking divine blessings, followed by mesmerizing Shiv Vandana, setting a spiritual tone for the evening. Energetic Retro Dance blended nostalgia with youthful exuberance. The fusion of tradition and modernity was showcased through an Indo-Western Dance, which left the crowd enthralled. A soul-stirring Classical Dance performance highlighted the grace and heritage of Indian art. The patriotic fervor of Qawwali filled the hall with pride for the nation.
The Annual Report was presented by the school Principal Mrs Seema Gupta , spotlighting the school’s numerous achievements over the past year. While captivating Mime performance, depicted social issue of women empowerment with depth, Nav Bharat Ka Srijan, portrayed the vision of a progressive and prosperous India freed from the shackles of societal evils.
Soulful song by Gouri and a traditional folk song by Payal added charm to the evening. The much-loved enactment of The Ramayana by the little stars of Shishu Vatika mesmerized every soul. Impactful English Play, offered a reflection on modern society’s reliance on social media and mobile technology. Enthralling Sufi Kathak, Fusion Dance, blending classical & the contemporary were the key highlights of the cultural bonanza. The Chief Guest Sh Choudhary, applauded the synchronized efforts of the students and faculty, emphasizing the importance of cultural education alongside academics as demand of the day. Lauding the school’s dedication to holistic education Dr. Himanshu Giya, the Guest of Honour, expressed his pride in being an alumnus of such a prestigious institution. Vote of Thanks was presented by Sh PC Goyal ji, Secretary BVM Trust . The event culminated with an electrifying Gidha- Bhangra performance, followed by a rousing Finale. The event concluded with the National Song , making "Srijan- 2024" a truly unforgettable experience.
