BVM USN observed Prakash Utsav of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji with piety and spiritual fervour to impart values and insightful teachings of the great Guru and social reformer who propagated society to come out of shackles of caste and creed by following the path of ideal and virtuous living, universal humanism and oneness of mankind. The morning assembly commenced with an enlightening talk by Mrs Rasdeep Kaur (PRT English), who spoke about the teachings and values of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. This was followed by a soul-steering Shabad Gayan by the musical choir of the school, filling the atmosphere with spiritual harmony. Devotional hymns and chants echoed throughout the sacred Prabhat Pheri.To honour the teachings and legacy of Guru Ji, the Paath of panj pauris of Japji sahib and and the Anand Sahib Paath was held with spiritual bliss. The traditional Langar was organised with meticulous care and discipline. On the auspicious occasion, Principal Mrs Seema Gupta urged the students to incorporate and practice Guruji's teachings in their thoughts and deeds in real sense.
