BVM Udham Singh Nagar Hosts Capacity Building Program
to empower the educators on Art Integration
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sen Sec School, Udham Singh Nagar, today organized a Capacity Building Program on Art Integration (CBSE), aiming to empower educators to incorporate the transformative power of art into their teaching practices.
The event began with a ceremonial lamp-lighting, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge, followed by a warm welcome to the esteemed resource persons, Dr. Vandana Shahi (National awardee) and Dr. Navneet Kaur who were honored with saplings as tokens of gratitude and a commitment to sustainability. The CBP provided valuable insights and strategies to integrate art with pedagogy and thus foster the skills of creativity, critical thinking and collaboration among learners. Both Dr. Shahi and Dr. Kaur shared their expertise through interactive sessions, including engaging games and small activities designed to demonstrate innovative teaching styles. All the activities effectively showcased how art integration can make learning more dynamic and engaging.Teachers wholeheartedly participated in the activities resolving their queries through the insightful discussions.
Principal Mrs Seema Gupta expressed her sincere gratitude to the resource persons, highlighting the program’s potential to enrich teaching practices. She affirmed, "The innovative approaches shared today will undoubtedly enhance teaching methods of the faculty and positively impact students' learning experiences."
