The 16th National Yogasana Sports Championship, held on December 2, 2024, at the Senior Citizen Council Hall in Ludhiana, marked a moment of glory for the talented BVM Udham Singh Nagar yoga teams. Competing with zeal and precision, the participants brought laurels to their institution by winning multiple accolades.
Team Achievements:-
U/8 Girls Team: Aaradhya, Anahita, Dipanshi, Nayara, and Arzoo secured 1st position.
U/12 Girls Team: Chakshita, Aaradhya, Anvi, Ridhima, and Deetya clinched the 1st position.
U/14 Girls Team: Geet, Harleen, Ramya, and Srishti earned the 2nd position.
U/17 Girls Team: Sugandha, Vanshika, Ananta, and Ridhima(IX),Ridhima (Vlll)dominated with the 1st position.
U/19 Boys Team: Divansh, Divas, Kismat, Jashan, and Gaurav emerged as
1st position winners.
Individual and Group Events:-
Artistic Yoga: Aaradhya, Geet, Ananta, Ridhima, and Gaurav secured Gold Medals.
Rhythmic Yoga: Sugandha, Vanshika, and Ridhima grabbed Gold Medals.
Rhythmic Pair Yoga: Sugandha, Ananta, Jashan, and Kismat bagged Gold Medals.
Individual Events: Devansh Yadav and Divas clinched Gold Medals.
The school grabbed Runner-up up Trophy for these marvelous achievements.
Mr. Sanjeev Thakur, PGT (Physical Education), received the 'Best Yoga Guru Award' from the Yogasana Sports Federation, Government of India, for his outstanding guidance and dedication.
Principal Mrs. Seema Gupta congratulated the champions, applauding their hard work and determination. She also expressed heartfelt appreciation for the unwavering efforts of mentors Mr. Sanjeev Thakur and Mrs. Geeta Mishra, under whose guidance... 'Aspirations turned into Achievements'.
