BVM USN Observes National Consumer Day with Informative Activities
On the occasion of National Consumer Day, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Udham Singh Nagar organized a series of engaging activities aimed at raising awareness about consumer rights and responsibilities.The program commenced with an insightful PowerPoint presentation by Harsimran Kaur (XII-Commerce) highlighting key aspects of consumer protection laws. This was followed by a quiz competition for Class XI(Commerce), designed to test and enhance students' knowledge about consumer rights. Additionally, a thought-provoking speech on the importance of being informed and vigilant consumers was delivered by Kritika Sharma (XI-Commerce), encouraging students to be proactive in safeguarding their interests.
Marking the significance of the day, Principal Mrs Seema Gupta shared an inspiring message: "Education about consumer rights is essential in today’s world. By equipping our students with this knowledge, we are preparing them to be responsible citizens who can contribute to a fair and just society." The event successfully emphasized the importance of consumer awareness and empowered students with valuable insights for the future.
