BVM (USN) celebrated the auspicious festivals of Durga Ashtami and Ram Navami with great devotion and enthusiasm. These sacred days, observed on the eighth and ninth days of Chaitra Navratri, are dedicated to Shakti Swarupa Maa Durga and Maryada Purushottam Lord Rama, respectively.
During the morning assembly, Mr. Rajkumar (TGT Sanskrit ) enlightened the students about the significance of the festival. He explained how Durga Ashtami commemorates the victory of Goddess Durga over the demon Mahishasura, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil. He also shared an insightful account of Lord Rama's birth, emphasizing its spiritual and cultural importance. The celebration was marked by a spirit of devotion as talented vocalists presented a soulful bhajan in praise of Maa Durga, filling the atmosphere with divine energy.
Extending her warm wishes on these holy occasions, Principal Mrs. Seema Gupta emphasized the relevance of Ashtami and Navami in today's times. She urged students to uphold the values of truth, righteousness, and self-discipline in their lives.
