Birth Anniversary of tenth guru og the Sikhs, ‘ Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji” was celebrated here at BVM, USN with utmost devotion and spirituality. The students were made aware of Guru ji as a great warrior, creator of Khalsa Panth and a spiritual leader. They were told how bravely he fought against oppression committed by the unjust forces. He sacrificed his all for human liberty, equality and fraternity. On this pious occasion students of class VI,VII and VIII recited a shabad “Deh Shiva Bar Mohe Hain Shub Karman te Kabhoo Na Taroon” which is self composed by Guruji. Apart from this INDIAN Army Day was also celebrated. Mam Mrs. Geeta Mishra paid homage and highlighted the sacrifices made by our soldiers. This infused the students with the feeling of nationalism and patriotism.
