In a vibrant celebration of Earth Day 2025, BVM (USN) reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to environmental consciousness and sustainable living. The school campus came alive with a series of thoughtful and engaging activities aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of ecological challenges and inspiring young minds to act for a greener, healthier planet.
The day began with a special morning assembly, setting a reflective and hopeful tone. A sapling plantation drive, led by the NCC cadets , symbolized the school's dedication to nurturing the environment. Jaiwant Jain (Class VI) delivered a thought-provoking speech, emphasizing the urgent need to combat climate change, reduce plastic consumption and protect biodiversity.
To mark the occasion, the school pledged to actively reduce its carbon footprint through initiatives like energy conservation, waste segregation and rainwater harvesting. Budding artists from Class V showcased their creativity with posters on impactful themes such as “Renewable Energy,” “Zero Waste Lifestyle” and “Protect Our Pollinators.” The school choir enchanted the audience with a melodious Earth-themed song, filling the atmosphere with inspiration and unity. A powerful Nukkad Natak performed by students resonated deeply with theme, as it vividly portrayed the consequences of environmental neglect and delivered a strong message to protect Mother Earth.
