To instill essential life skills in young learners, BVM USN organized a series of enriching SUPW (Socially Useful Productive Work) activities for students of Classes I to V . These hands-on experiences were designed to foster responsibility, discipline, creativity and basic life management skills among children. Class I students participated in “Making of Study Timetable” activity, helping them understand the value of routine and effective time management from an early age. Class II explored “Table Manners” through interactive demonstrations and role-plays, emphasizing polite dining habits, cleanliness, and social etiquette. Class III engaged in “Maintenance of School Bag”, where students learned the importance of keeping their school bags tidy and well-organized—encouraging cleanliness and preparedness. Class IV students were taught “How to Tie an Extra Sheet or Map with the Main Answer Sheet”, equipping them with a practical and vital skill for their academic journey. Class V enthusiastically participated in the “Best Out of Waste” activity, creatively transforming discarded materials into useful and decorative items, thus reinforcing the values of sustainability and environmental care.
Principal Mrs. Seema Gupta appreciated the enthusiasm of the students and remarked, “Work education empowers children with vital life skills from an early age. These valuable lessons play a significant role in shaping them into organized, responsible and self-reliant individuals.”
